the project looks promising but i hope the dev team would live up to expectation.
Exactly, it's about execution and if smartphone users perceive the app's function as something of value.
There's one important point I don't see mentioned much.
Electronium's team has no shortage of grey matter, yet I hope they are sufficiently *generous* with simulated mining rewards.
Hopefully, they can iterate and optimize rewards algo's for progressively increased adoption.

I have never seen such a craze before, for any other project. Facebook is absolutely littered with ads and referrals, it is all over the internet. I have a few work colleagues that know nothing about crypto talking about Electroneum. Even Harry Redknapp is interested lol. This really is a huge deal, it is also quite unique and they have a bold vision for the future, a cryptocurrency easily accessible to all. It is not far fetched to believe that many people are interested in this, especially as so many missed out on Bitcoin. Even my wife bought some! That means something. Hehe. The excitement and hype around this project has gone viral

If website traffic is any correlation though, electroneum has some pretty impressive numbers. This site projects that the electroneum webpage will have 2.8 million unique visitors over the next year just based on current viewership numbers. I have been checking these daily and they seem to be correlating well with the reported number of people signing up.

yeah, few other sites say it's gotten over 500k unique visitors in the past 30 days, so 200k users doesn't seem far fetched.

People keep talking about a $40m hard cap but I can't actually see that anywhere. In fact there is a section in the announcment about what they will do if they get more than $40m. I guess the hardcap is 6bn coins sold, the dollar amount being hard to calculate because of the sliding bonus.

Please don't spread false information in an attempt to get referrals. The ICO ends on the 31st, and referral spam is not allowed on he forum.
I don't think they meant it as false information, I think they were referring to the last day of the 10% bonus (only that they used the word sale instead, but would be best if they corrected their comment to avoid confusing other people).
On a different note, I have a feeling Electroneum will hit the 3 billion ETN sold by the end of the day (currently at 2,924,692,619). What do you think?
