So how can I move my ICO coins to a wallet of my own? There is no windows wallet right? I don't wanna leave my coins on the crowdsale site but I don't want to move them to a shady place either

Don't think there is a windows wallet yet, they may even keep it that way for a while to encourage use of the mobile wallet (guessing).

I downloaded the 'direct mining' software for windows (https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/releases/download/v0.11.0.0/win-x64-0.11.0.0.zip)

ran the daemon (electroniumd) and synced the blockchain (about 600MB currently)

then I ran electronium-wallet-cli.exe, and created a wallet

you can see you address with the 'address' command, refresh the blockchain status with 'refresh', view balance with 'balance' and send coins with the 'transfer' command.

For some, it is needed to recreate the wallet as a non-deterministic wallet to see their balance .

You can do direct mining with 'start_mining' but my guess is that it is not viable with the current network hashrate and a pool is better

If you are interested in the safe option, use the offline wallet instead (https://downloads.electroneum.com/)

I think they will release the ICO coins in the next couple of days.

I hope the coding will be completed very soon. We can't afford bug better take little more time but there shouldn't be any compromise on safety and stability on the network after this. People have adjusted with this delay but it will be wise to come out with solid and concrete updates as this is $40 millions project is.

Blockchain grew from about 150Mb about a week ago when I started to 600MB currently. Would this be considered fast growth ?

Made a mistake on selling account ddnt read rules
Could somebody please explain to me, or refer me to the relevant reading material, how the price of a coin/token is determined upon launch ? In the case of ETN, there were not ICO investors selling, only miners, so how did it attain the initial price ? Is it also a simple matter of supply and demand where early miners simply set a relative high price and the demand kept it multiples of ICO price up to now ?

it till still go down once the wallets go live

but who knows aybe there is some miracle that even majority will dump someone will catch the dump and skyrocket the price  Grin Grin Grin

but of course if there is a miracle XD

Before start mining Electroneum, am I right that there is 60% (12,6 bln from 21 bln coins) premine (instamine) in the 1st block?

If yes, who are the owners of that 60% premined (instamined) coins?

Electroneum team: you will find the info if you read the paper and previous comments - hint: "mobile-mining simulation payment pool"

Thanks, I got it Electroneum team premined 60% of all coins for themselves. Sorry better will go and mine another crypto... Do not like (avoid) premine and instamine.

Not for themselves, the majority of the 12,6 Billion is for paying out the mobile simulation mining.

Do you have bullet proof source (statistics) that:
1) Electroneum team will not repay these 12,6 Billion to themselves by just moving coins from one pocket to another via this "simulation"?
2) How can you check that this "simulation" was a fair distribution of coins?
But anyway its up to you to trust "mobile simulations" rather than real working blockchains...

I suggest you spend 10 min to read the paper and previous comments - if you still not believe in this - MOVE ON to another coin!

Thanks, already MOVING ON and have a GREAT SIMULATION!!!
