Read some posts above, the downloadable Linux programs do currently not work with Ubuntu 16.04 (or at least my Ubuntu 16.04 installation). You have to recompile them for yourself.
I have a Debian 9... I'll try to find the information...

Compiled it myself from the src for Ubuntu 16.04, now it works. So your Linux download version won´t definitely run with Ubuntu 16.04
Can you pm me how you compiled it ? I'm on a debian 9 and have the same issue

Hey I'm trying to mine electroneum with my gpu's I can't figure it out I always get an error when I try to run the miner I'm running nvidia gpus created a .bat file with the code they provided on hashparty.io but it tells me the code exectution can not proceed MSVCR100.dll is not found. reinstalling this program may fix the problem. does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

When are we who invested our money going to be alowed to access our coins? I tried to send some test coins but the wallet button still doesnt work i can see the coins I paid for but how do I send it or if you forbid me access to my coins when will you give me access to them?

This was not a fair launch, especially not a launch for not tech-savy people, as it was supposed to be.

but ... in itself, if you can with the use of a third-party program (I've tried it)
can this realistically be mined using mobiles?
Of course not. They should have banned or at least limited CPU\GPU mining. And it's not. So no point at all to use smartphone to mine ETNs (and it's not active too).
Since it's just simulated mining on mobile, they can adjust the reward rate on the mobile miner however they want, as long as they still have plenty of ETNs in the mobile mining reward reserve.
Of course you can, here is a test of so many mining software for mobiles

but as they say, it is not recommended as it would slowly kill the battery of your smarphone (I only use it in a phone that I have obsolete so there is no problem) or as a temporary solution to lower the frequency to the cpu
the truth I thought that the miner of this currency would be exclusively cpu, or mobile phones, just to with just include the gpu would think twice mining with cpu (imagine mining with a telephone..., having rigs of gpu professionals) (is my umilde opinion as a newbie miner)
