I have high hopes about your project. What is the difference between your company and Salt Lending? And you have any plans to participate in any big blockchain convention this year?

We differ from SALT Lending in a few distinctive and important ways.

Firstly, it seems that they are focusing on using crypto assets to secure cash loans. Our focus is on helping traditional borrowers to gain access to loans, leases, and mortgages that traditional financial institutions have not been able to serve efficiently and effectively.

Secondly, they are turning non-borrowers into borrowers; we are targeting borrowers directly;

Thirdly, they are targeting a new class of assets, we are dealing with traditional assets;

Last but not least, we generate one simplified fully customized smart contract for each traditional borrower contract. From my understanding, they use traditional technology, one system, to process all borrower contracts; the blockchain they use is for collaterals (crypto assets) only.

To my best knowledge they are using traditional technology to process blockchain-backed loans. We on the other hand use blockchain technology to process traditional loans, leases, and mortgages. We are opening the floodgates for an easier, superior borrowing experience with self administering capabilities. We are attempting to make the world a better place for lenders and borrowers.

We will be at Devcon3 on Nov 1-4. Hope to see all our excited followers there, and hope to answer many more questions then!

That sounds really great but what about your team experience with blockchain technology?

We have dedicated developers from Robocoder Corporation, a highly qualified software development company with deep roots in mission critical financial software that have learned solidity and are comfortable with developing on the blockchain. Furthermore, we are in talks with highly qualified and influential blockchain experts to advise us on our technology every step of the way.

We will also be releasing our blockchain code to be open source, so that everyone may audit our technology for piece of mind. Additional bounties to come for bug checking on our token smart contract, alpha and beta releases, etc.

This project looks very promising, can you tell me a little more about the team and your experience in the financing sector?

Of course! Our team has worked in the financing sector for the last 20 years, and our development team Robocoder Corporation has been building securitization software for banks and financing companies spanning serving 90% of Canadian securitization. We are well equipped to handle any and all challenges thrown our way.

Our founder, Nelson Lin, was the creator of applications such as Credit-Link (automated credit adjudication & lease origination), Market-Link (data-mart & pivot tables), LOIS (end-of-lease management, collection & accounting) and CALMS (web-based version of all the above) in the leasing industry. In fact, Nelson Lin built Newcourt’s - and the market’s - first online credit adjudication software for the asset-based finance and leasing industry in Canada. In order to communicate with the remote mainframes of the credit bureaus, he simulated asynchronous call before it even exists.

Big news is coming soon about our first originators to sign on, as well as many, many notable additions to our advisory team. Stay tuned!
