- is the demo already working? Does it rely on a server at this moment?
- how is fortknoxster allowing decent encrypted calls and decentralized cloud storage with the known ETH scalability issues? How would you handle with latency?

Great questions. The FortKnoxster platform is an end-to-end encryption system where all files and communications are encrypted in the clients browser, before they are sent to our servers. Decryption of data is only possible for the intended recipients. Our unique crypto architecture is developed using the Web Crypto API, which is more efficient, than most other Javascript based crypto-libraries and leverages on the browser’s own crypto stack implementation. FortKnoxster does not have a public API description available. Everything is built on JSON API calls from the web and app clients. FKX has them defined/described internally. The team may consider exposing some of these APIs like the storage API in the future. Our DEMO is functional, but very much a DEMO as it's not utilizing the blockchain tech at this time. So very much in DEMO mode to give users an idea of what to expect. By me the project looks very nice. Maybe very very nice :-) but we need more hype around it. community should be atleast 10k in telegram. Right now it's only 2-3k. Project is undervalued and we need to hype it as much as we can. I am starting twitter promotion to get the people inside the telegram channel of the project. Keep moving guys!
The project is growing really quickly. Once the fundraising is over more marketing will be done.

Thats a good article - I keep saying to people that Fortknoxster has massive potential in the enterprise/business space. Corporate IP is worth a LOT of money. And protecting it is more and more difficult these days...
Exactly! Awesome, there have been around 1000 contributors in 3 weeks. However, we do not disclose status of the private pre-sale, this will be announced either when sold out or latest the 4 of February, they day before our public pre-sale starts. We do not wish people to speculate/hype our private pre-sale for many reasons, the private pre-sale is an opportunity early backers can use, if they believe in our mission and project - and not just to make money speculating in our FKX token (which is also why we lock-up the bonus part 4 months).

Yes, you can use it as a personal storage. FortKnoxster's entire storage infrastructure will be built in a decentralized distributed storage on a P2P network using the well-known IPFS. Users can rent their hard disk(s) and earn FKX tokens on storage usage and bandwidth usage. This is the equivalent of crypto-currency mining, but instead of using the CPU/GPU to mine blocks, available hard disk storage is used to allocate storage.
