We will use electrolysis to produce hydrogen right next to the station. So there is no need for transportation. This lowers the cost dramatically.
Just figure the chain for fossil gasoline or diesel-oil:
Is collected, transported, refined, transported, loaded on ship, transported, unloaded from ship, transported, stored, transported to gas-station. It will be loaded into a car. And in the car it will be burned and turned into movement with maximum 30% effiency.
Also we will produce hydrogen from renewable biomass, store it in LOHC (liquid organic hydrogen carrier) and transport it using trucks with clean technology.
Production cost about $2,50 / kg H2. When sold for $12 /kg H2, the price per 100km is equal to current prices for gasoline.
