HydroCoin HYC will act as a certificate for clean fuels, i.g. like hydrogen, Substitute natural gas, electric current for rapid chargers for EV.

It may seem that way now because fuel cell cars and hydrogen refuel stations (HRS) are not that common but the industry is growing very rapidly and in the next few years it will be a big catalyst in the clean energy shift that is bound to happen.

Since HydroCoin is designed to be a currency and certificate for 100% renewable fuel, we are looking for such gas-stations world-wide. Gas station operators are welcome to apply for the HydroCoin-certificate on our upcoming map. The map will appear on our website and upcoming app for smartphones. We will show the location of the gas station as well as information about operator, service and fuels.

Terms & Conditions for a certified gas station are 100% renewable fuels, from production to pump. Operators have to agree to accept HydroCoin as a currency when available.

Fuels can be gas, hydrogen and electric power to recharge EV.

It is in our belief that Electric Vehicles(EVs) and clean energy sources is not only the right way but the only way for a sustainable future, COP 21 (even if one President didn't sign the agreement) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_United_Nations_Climate_Change_Conference and the recent COP 23 are strong indicators of things to come that are long overdue. Hydrogen in the form of fuel cells, will definitely play a major role. Companies like Toyota, Honda and the newly founded Nikola are a testament of the auto industry's belief in it. Like EVs and clean energy sources, cryptocurrencies are also a disruptive innovation that is already shaping our future, our team will strive to bridge Hydrogen power with blockchain technology so that both technologies (and ultimately the consumers) can benefit from each other.

A big autobile manufactorer is comparing electric vehicles with gasoline-driven cars as follows:

 8.2 litre gasoline per 100km with an average price of  €1.53 for premium gasoline
 A brandnew Toyota Mirai is rated with 0.8kg H2/100km

According to this data, one Kilo of hydrogen might cost up to 15,68 Euro to reach equal price per 100 km.

The average producing-cost for 1 kg hydrogen using electolyser is about 2,40 Euro with electric power from grid, and double that price using renewable power.

HydroCoin will help to enable the mass production of hydrogen from renewable energy and drop the price of one Kilo H2 below 10 Euro.
This will make fuelcell electic cars cheaper than actual cars with combustion engine.

The price for hydrogen at gas-stations vary very much. Hydrogen from fossil source is sold from 9.50 Euro per kg, Hydrogen from regenrative source in sold for up to 16 Dollar per kg in California.

But Fuel cell cars are a lot mor efficient with energy than cars with combustion engines. One Kilo of hydrogen can last for more than 100km driving range. So gas price compared to actual cars is already equal.

Hydrogen from biomass will turn many farmers on this planet into clean-fuel producers. Combines with optimized electroyser-technology this will be a real chance to turn this world from fossil fuel to clean fuel.
 

It seems very bad, project without a future. Hydrogen Industry is unprofitable, so it`s idea without realization. Too many factors, too many other sources of energy.

Good Idea but why only power from water powerplants ? There are also other clean power sources than that.
Focusing on water only will reduce the possibilites to get sufficient power drastically.

Yes, fossil fuels are a good income for countries through tax. Also centralized distribution systems for energy are very hard to crack.
But our idea is to use the power of a blockchain-based currency to change this.

Our joker is the unawareness of many people regarding crypto-currencies. Even a market-cap of more than 300 bln USD is not much - related to the world wide energy market. So there is plenty of room for HydroCoin to succeed.
