This has been a busy week at Pigzbe, with the team growing fast and the excitement of our token creation event (check our last blog for the full story on that) but we still found the time to sit down with our CTO Cat Le-Huy.
We asked Cat what was the most memorable and important part, for him, of heading out to a country house and creating 675 million Wollo tokens on the Stellar Blockchain. His answer might surprise you. He pointed us to this snippet of code:
Why?
Cat told us: "This link is super important. Because that’s what everyone will use to ensure that the WLO that they receive actually came from Pigzbe. This account is a *locked* account and proof that we can't create anymore Wollo. The home_domain shows people that we created it and is authentic."

We just posted an update on our Medium page you might like to check out. Last week the founders of #Pigzbe headed out of London to witness our #Wollo token creation event. Security was high but we have a few exclusive pics of the moment we created the lifetime supply of of 675 million WLO tokens.
As we’ve already announced, the Pigzbe App has been approved by Apple last week. The App will be live and ready for Wollo holders to download and use before the close of the ICO, ready for token distribution. We’re now in a place where we can showcase some exciting stuff to our community. More information coming soon.

The fact that this is a project that's also teaching kids how to manage money in a fun way is already a plus, I think you guys would be able to pull a lot of parents or future parents or basically just anyone with kids in their lives that would love to have those kids learn how to be responsible with their money. Great project!

It seems an interesting project at concept. Pigzbe could going to be a game changer in helping with our kids understanding crypto and finances. I hope it can be well developed and have a good adoption.

Pigzbe’s Wollo will be a utility token because purchasers will be using it to access a service — a utility. The token needs a clear purpose, and can sometimes even be a payment token, but most importantly, it needs to unequivocally, and indisputably not function as a security, or as defined by FINMA’s most recent round of ICO guidelines published on the 16th of February 2018, an “asset token”.
