I missed most of the discussion. Does all this have to do with the announcement from the SEC about Initial Coin Offerings or is this related to something else?

Please read the official announcement on the homepage, also a few pages back there is a more detailed announcement outlining it in more detail. It is not in response to the SEC announcement, but it is to setup for the legal structure of the company and token sale.

They delayed for a purpose, they have to make sure by the time they start the ICO they will meet their target.
I'm looking into this project, most likely it will be one of the sold out projects.

I agree, let SpectivVR do their work. They have worked things out (they made sure they are well informed) and made this choice deliberately. I think it is wise and courageous!

Its totally a wise move because they better to delay the ICO than start it while the projects and legalizations are not finalize. As of now as they are partnered in a company to a better launch and marketing of the Spectvr.

Long enough to wait for ICO, hopefully the team prepare well for ICO which is still long because I think many people have been waiting for this project
