you just update onlie the blockchain. You have to update the collateral too.

Using the windows wallet, after copying the old wallet.dat over, when entering the password to unlock the wallet i get an error message: Assertion failed! File: crypter.cpp, Line 250, Expression: false. Clicking "ignore" then tells me the password was incorrect. I tried the password on the old qt wallet, and it works without any problems.

There is some sort of problem with the new qt unlocking old wallet.dat files.

Is there any other exchange where this coin is traded?

The Coin Market Cap shows two markets, tokok.com/market?symbol=TOK_USDT and Cryptopia which, is shut down.

On the website some links dont work like, Telegram,  can we get that working.


Not having market is not good, i know you all must be working on something. Dont understand why you waited so long to apply to others, this is a major problem for all of us.


keep website updated and the Ann updated is important. if it wasn't for recent post here you would think this coin is dead. Can anyone share what the next 6 month plan is???

@everyone We will do the Android mandatory update tomorrow. If you have coins in Android wallet then please move your coins to the desktop TOK wallet.

If the wallet hadnt been down for a full month prior to the hack I'd have all my TOK, not just some.
But since it was down for a month with no explanation...prior to the hack...I was never able to get it withdrawn.

Also - it's one thing to double MN collateral.
An un-announced immediate increase where you have (for example) a full MN one day and only 25% of an MN the next day - as a surprise.

I've said all I have to say - no real hate here just didnt like how it went down.

Secondly, please be aware that there was masternode-reward hack, the hacker had spread his coins in 250 wallets. This is why it took time for us to track each and every wallet of the hacker.

Also, collateral increase was requested by so many people to me in private chats, that I had to do it. TOK has 3 major investors, and they also wanted this increase, because the rewards were less than the monthly VPS cost.

Another point you should learn about POS coins is that the developer should always have a chunk of coins so that the blockchain is not forked away or overtaken by hackers. We have 8 masternodes running but they are running because we want the blockchain to be stable.

HAHA - just got banned from Discord for pointing out that wallets were down for over a month for some big upgrade - when they simply pulled the most common scan in the masternode game-  increasing collateral. Claiming to do all this work the entire time and almost nothing was done. "everyone tired from working on wallet" - only someone who knows Nothing about dev/wallet work would believe that after seeing what was actually done.

Well dev's, I'm sure you will fatten your wallet (they knew ahead of time the collateral increase plan and accrued many over that month in prepartion of upcoming annoucement which would immediately increase volume)...

Shame on you guys.

TOKUGAWA Version 2.0.0 is released. This update is to be applied compulsorily and as soon as you can. This update was needed to get rid of the masternode-reward hack.

You can download the new wallets from http://tokugawacoin.com or https://github.com/TokugawaCoin/TokugawaCore_New/releases/tag/v2.0.0.0

The new collateral for making masternodes is 10000 coins and not just 2500 now. This is updated on several requests / suggestions from several investors.

Instructions on updating to version 2.0.0:

Windows:

1. Delete the old TOKUGAWA.exe (QT file)
2. Download wallet from http://www.tokugawacoin.com/assets/wallet/Tokugawa-qt%20Win.zip or from Github
3. Run the new Tokugawa.exe (QT file).
4. Let the wallet sync completely. New folder named Tokugawa-core will automatically be created.
5. Close the wallet using CTRL+Q
6. Copy the wallet.dat file from Tokugawa folder to Tokugawa core folder.
The Tokugawa folder is located at C:/users/Your windows username/appdata(hidden)/roaming/Tokugawa   
The new Tokugawa core folder is located at C:/users/Your windows username/appdata(hidden)/roaming/Tokugawa core
7. Run the Tokugawa.exe (QT file). You will get a Warning message about """error reading wallet""". You need to click OK and let the wallet run. Once the wallet loads completely, you should see your coins in the wallet.

We have uploaded a daemon in the above link for updating wallet.

Copy the wallet.dat from old wallet, get the new wallet QT from the above link. You can use PivX instructions to update wallet. I will write in detail steps in some time.

Once you run the new QT and it syncs completely, you can replace the new wallet.dat with the old wallet.dat file.

Masternode setup:

Windows and Mac Masternode setup is a bit different now. You will need 10000 coins to make the masternode.
You will need to make a new masternode as the previous keys will not work.

We have made automated script to host hot-cold wallet setup in which Linux cold (without coins in wallet) and Windows hot (with coins in wallet) wallet will be there.
