More than a year ago WePower signed a groundbreaking partnership with Elering in Estonia.
This allowed WePower to turn 26,000 hours and 24 TWh of energy consumption and production data into 39 billion SmartEnergy Tokens.

What happens if we store our tokens on the platform and they disappear? My understanding is that 0.9 percent is only available to token holders who have their tokens on the platform
That wont be the case, to avail of a portion the donation pool you will be required to hold your tokens in your ERC 20 wallet and also have an account on the platform, you will then be able to link your account to your erc 20 wallet and you can receive donations appropriate to your WPR token holdings.
This is how it will work, but more specific and detailed information is yet to come. So stay tuned for that.

But this 'staking' where you can get part of that energy donation pool isn't already available yet, right? I haven't heard of it before yet and it would be bad to miss out on this.
That is correct, the donation pool is not opened yet, but by following the sources outlined above in the comment you replied to, you will not miss anything.

No doubt it is good decision to watch this AMA session especially who missed to see this live streaming and there is another good news. This platform is still into good position and it have big potential to provide wonderful solution in coming days.
