Hi! If you compare WePower and PowerLedger whitepapers, you will see a clear distinction between two companies.
WePower focuses mostly on financing of renewable energy producers globally. In simple words, solar, wind or battery farms will issue securities (due to profit distribution and tradability features), which will be tradable on the PowerLedger platform. Each security issuance will trigger financial/securities law regulations and become a costly and a local fund raising mechanism for the farms. Moreover, PowerLedger will become a trading facility, which is also regulated by financial laws. We believe that this model does not bring innovation to the energy market and does not require blockchain or token issuance. Many operating crowdfunding platforms can offer that already.

It's true that in Europe in a few years, 90% will come from Green energy! It really is interesting to have a Blockchain on this subject that is being discussed all over the world! Will I be watching, will there be a bounty campaign?
