Is the token ERC223 or plain ol' 20?

Zeex will be a standard ERC20 token.

do you have own wallet?

As ZIX is an ERC20 token, you’ll use an Ethereum address to store it. MyEtherWallet is a great solution for this and will allow you to store any ERC20 token on a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor.

Sir,

Is cards being multi currency or only dollar american?

Your question is not clear but I will take my best guess and say you are asking if we will support gift cards which are more than just American Gift Cards?

Zeek is our sister company which is based in the United Kingdom and Germany. Many of the gift cards available can be used online for virtual goods or are for retailers who are worldwide such as  Amazon, Adidas, Nike, Starbucks, Sainsbury's. All of these gift cards will be available on the Zeex.me platform when released and live. You can have a look at the full list on their website - https://www.zeek.me/gb/buy-gift-vouchers/

I hope this answers your question  Wink

Does that mean KYC wont be needed?

For utility tokens KYC is not mandatory, but some ICO still require that. Its just another layer of security for them.
Why dont utility tokens require KYC?

Utility Tokens don't carry the same risks associated with Security Tokens. Zeex will require KYC though.

the project is interesting of course. but there are a lot of such people now. what are you different about? do you have a smart contract? when will the alpha version of your site be ready?

Good Question! Zeex has already a working prototype and is scheduled to release the platform as soon as the token distribution has completed. In fact it is one of the first crypto projects to actually have a fully fledged platform ready for the market.

But what i want to know is who are your blockchain developers? what experience do you have in this space?

Ilan Schifter and Ziv Isaiah are both highly experienced tech moguls with deep knowledge of blockchain.  All of our team members are crypto enthusiasts to say the least.    Grin

It's a good article.

"Some of those companies, like Zeek, the European market leader in this space, even accept currencies like Bitcoin, but because they are not on the blockchain themselves they can’t exchange directly. There is still tremendous friction and companies like Zeek that take bitcoin must choose between either accepting the enormous volatility risk of holding on to bitcoin or pay for the service of immediately transferring to fiat (usually through a provider like Bitpay)."

explains the basic principle.

Wait i dont understand, why do we need to be on the blockchain?

The blockchain we are on, Ethereum, allows for smart contracts which enable our solution to function. Without that, we wouldn't have a protocol!
And with our own token on the Ethereum blockchain, we become a proper P2P exchange with no middleman and instant validation Cheesy

Does Zeex have a plan to prevent pump & dump and price manipulation after the token sale?

Not really, we as a company cannot discuss price or trading as it is a utility token, not a security token, but in general due to the decentralized nature of the application it is impossible for the company to prevent users from performing actions. The company will hold 10% of tokens in escrow and the core team members will be restricted from flooding the market with their tokens as well.

If there’s no mining, then how is verification done?

Hey, I'm Tash from the Zeex moderation team Cool mining is not necessary because the Zeex Protocol uses smart contracts.

A smart contract must either complete the entire contract – meaning that funds/corporate currency codes were exchanged instantly person to person and then the contract is complete – or it doesn’t complete and the funds return to their points of origin. Because of this structure there is no need for further validation. Hope this answers your question Smiley

How does it get its revenues from retailers? Is there a cut that you keep for yourself per product sold or is it that those companies use your platform / software and pay for that? Do they have to lock up tokens to use your service (which would then drive demand)?
Kindly answer this one, it's not clear yet on how would you get your revenues from the reatilers, are you going to charge them with how many percent per product being sold using your platform?

I have a question if someone can answer,is ZIX a mineable token?

Zix is NOT a mineable token.  It is on the Ethereum blockchain so no need to mine it  Cool

Its going to be open beta then, where everyone will be able to join?
. Our first public version will come out shortly before the public sale, but we don't consider that to be a beta.  While we definitely want and appreciate your input on it, and all of the code is open-source, we will be releasing the apps when they're really ready to be used by the community.

Can you share some screenshots or teasers at least?

We have some great images and diagrams in our White Paper, and graphics will keep coming out along with our content on social media.  The app is designed to be simple enough for a four year old to use, 3 taps and you're done.  Anything complicated has to happen behind the scenes, we don't want to put that on the user.  When we've got an app teaser you'll be the first to know, in the meantime we have a teaser of an interview with our CEO Guy Melamed right here!

Why did Zeex choose to use the Ethereum network rather than another network like QTUM?

The Ethereum network is the most trusted and established network available today and is able to provide a great deal of flexibility, because of this we decided to work on the Ethereum blockchain.

When does the platform launch?

Our app will launch with full functionality the day the ICO is over.

So there will be an alpha launch of the web app at the end of this month, Android and iOS apps in Q3 of this year and a fully functional web app in May of this year?
Hi, we won't be launching a public alpha, you'll get your hands on all of the apps May/June of this year when the public sale ends.
