Vision - smart pivot of the Zeex business model into crypto. There does not appear to be any competitors in the market yet so this is a veritable 'blue ocean' strategy, always a nice place to be as a project.

But there are some similar projects - why would you say there is no competition yet?

What would those projects be?

Well Coinbase is also offering gift cards as an option for example.

This is true they offer Coinbase withdrawals in the form of certain WeGift gift cards in a few locations.  Zeex is not reliant on one or several or even just the largest suppliers. We are a decentralized ecosystem so it's really a different ballgame. We will be starting with over 450 different gift cards and expanding, WeGift offer around 150.

Yeah, for them this is just something extra to offer, it is not a real competitor to ZEEX.

Coinbase is doing that just as on option extra for users, not like major business focus.

Despite the external simplicity, the Zeex solution is quite difficult to implement technically. This requires a strong team in the first place. The Zeex team has the relevant competencies and experience.  Shocked

Well I expect that ZEEX will hire more people in future.

Same here, it will require more developers and people in general when it goes live to make it run smooth and I have a feeling that support department will be handling a lot of load.

Well, most of the problems should be worked out in the testing phases, so maybe not much support will be needed.

Support will be needed simply because people will make mistakes and someone will need to be there to help them.

Support is always needed. You cannot offer people a product with no support.

Will that support be enough is a whole diferent problem. But that's something that can be taken care of on the spot.

You need to be prepared, you can't patch it up easily if problem happens and then in a matter of hours you have 300k people not being able to use your product.

It's very important that ZEEX already have clear and workable business model. Partnership and business with Amazon.
I will follow the project with great interest.

they have a lot of good partnerships. They also have a good approach and have gained a lot of community trust.

You planning to build your smart contracts on top of ethereum blockchain. We all knows that ethereum can handle ~30tps. How will you solve the scalability issue? Sidechain, like plasma?

Even in very large scales, we're not going to meet the tps limit.

Let's take a very big scale for example: say a billion dollars worth of gift cards are going to be sold in the next year.

Thats:
•10,000,000 gift cards – $100 avg card (although we expect the average transaction to be much higher than $100)
•10M transaction in a year
•That's 3.3 tps

Also another thing to remember: If a user bought a $100 Starbucks card and used it everyday to buy coffee for a month, only the first transaction (buying the GC) is on the blockchain.

Thank you for clarifying this.

The idea with gift carts is very interesting. It will attrect more users to the platorm. Hope it will help to rise the price of the tokens.

it is the easiest and safest way to purchase so it will definitely attract more users.

Buying with gift cards is quite popular today, so I belive Zeex will transfer this popularity to the crypto world.

I think there won't be those problems if the smart contract is set up properly.

That is true,so many projects are based on eth,so there is a reason why projects go for that.Zeex will be fine.

This might be a noob question, but with more and more people using eth blockchain, is there a security risk?

It is possible that the platform will be balanced and will not allow mistakes to the user
