Happening today! Join Chris Tse for a demo and progress update on Card Pay at 9 a.m. EDT / 3 p.m. CEST / 9 p.m. SGT. https://youtu.be/IOprRhOo80Q

Gas fees are still one of Web 3.0's main issues. How can we fix them? https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#2d9f

The onboarding process for dApps and blockchain apps can be rather cumbersome. We need a more straightforward process if we want to grow this network. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#a8f4

Card Pay provides fast, cheap and easy payments. It remedies the problem of high transactional fees by operating on layer 2. If you haven't already, catch these demos by Chris Tse on Card Pay's payment and withdrawal workflows. https://medium.com/cardstack/card-pay-fast-cheap-easy-7ca236ed59b3

Logins and accounts in Web 3.0 must operate in simpler and more convenient ways to create a more inviting and less intimidating crypto-blockchain world. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#dcf7

Once the setup and transactional operations have been perfected, creators, developers, and merchants in the Web 3.0 world must focus on creating reward systems that entice new users into joining the community. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#c13b

Resolving the current challenges of Web 3.0 will create a more pleasant user experience and help DeFi gain more attention in the mainstream. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#e463

What we need is a non-sovereign, non-pegged currency that’s not priced in USD or EUR. There have been a handful of attempts to achieve this, but none have entirely succeeded. Achieving stable currency is key to generating financial inclusion. https://medium.com/cardstack/introducing-spend-d76372368d0#ef70

An NFT priced at 1 ETH in September 2020 (was ~$350) would now be asking $4000 today. This volatility excites only the most freewheeling of speculators, not the world at large. https://medium.com/cardstack/introducing-spend-d76372368d0#72da

Tools like WalletConnect 2.0 use an open protocol that establishes pairings between two apps and devices by way of a relay server that simplifies navigating cross-chain instances. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#d6db

Navigating between the two layers of the blockchain takes a lot of time. Deposits and withdrawals between the two networks can take a lengthy period considerably. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#eb95

SPEND is Cardstack's neutral pricing unit designed for **Card Pay**. Products priced in SPEND is settled using stablecoins like DAI, to allow exchanges to happen in decentralized ways on Layer 2 networks. Learn more about SPEND here: https://medium.com/cardstack/introducing-spend-d76372368d0

There are currently too many dApps designed for individual functions; there are dApps for buying tokens, trading ETH, minting NFTs, bridging tokens, and so on. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#244c

To resolve the overwhelming issue of which dApp to use, Cardstack is currently developing a consolidated workflow system called Card Flow. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#35bb

Here's what we've been up to recently: https://medium.com/cardstack/sep-22-inside-cardstack-this-week-a419e15603b

We have spent considerable time developing our tools on the mobile front because the world is veering toward a mobile majority. We want to make the Web 3.0 experience seamless. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#1a9e

Everybody has a camera, and making transactions through already-established QR-ready platforms is so much easier than engaging with any other mode of payment.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E_9fLLVUcAUKzVi?format=jpg&name=small

NFTs, representing digital collectibles, introduced people to the idea of “Obtainable Exclusivity”. Want in? You have to be early or be willing to spend big if you’re late.

Our new blog post dives into the infinite utility of NFTs in culture & commerce. https://medium.com/cardstack/beyond-nfts-as-collectibles-58f067c5c76b

Transactions on Web 3.0 still remain unclear to many. Many newcomers distrust Ethereum and Bitcoin because of the volatility surrounding the crypto market. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-2-32788be88565#47a9

The cryptosphere needs a stable, globalized currency value if it is to take off. The Card Pay network will enable easy transactions where conversion occurs to and from neutrality.

This title is not visible to most people because it is old.

Bitcointalk is one of the most popular platforms for cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

I expect the marketing plugin to be more active on bitcointalk when the Cardpay product comes out.

There is a section on the forum called bounty.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Here projects organize award campaigns. I'd love to see you launch a bounty campaign after the Cardpay product launch.

If talking about bounty, they have launched bounty at the beginning of this project, and it run really smooth, even have 19 weeks.

So of course he knows bounties, it's just their community hasn't insisted on getting them to do it again in this forum, or maybe he has other marketing places and plan, so many places that have influential crypto promotions besides this forum.

They say Cardpay would launch before christmast, but can't be sure of it. A campaign again after it launch, it would be outstandings.

I remember the cardstack bounty campaign in the ico era. I won 20,000 CARD tokens and I'm still holding.

Together with the application launch, they can create a new campaign.

Cardpay will probably launch in September.
It will be upgraded to full version by January 2022.

The full version is not required for launch. That's what the team said.

Varying tokens, fluctuating exchange rates, and floating currencies make transactions on Web 3.0 unclear. Tokens displayed without revealing their worth or corresponding exchange rates cause transactions on Web 3.0 to be quite a challenge. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#6ddc

One way to remedy the uncertainty surrounding exchange rates on a blockchain is to establish a foundation where conversion to a local currency occurs.  https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#6d75

Most dApps assume users already have the knowledge to set up their wallets and obtain tokens. Unfortunately, many users are not familiar with these steps. Moreover, if users need specialized tokens, they will need to navigate decentralized exchanges. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#8659

Some fiat-to-crypto gateways are developing ways to streamline and clarify the onboarding process.

Here are some examples. Read more here: https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#9c6c

After users set up their wallets and learn the ins and outs of floating currencies, they still have to switch between dual networks when they want to process a transaction. This process is yet another challenge for them. https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#76d6

The current user experience around transaction confirmation is highly tedious. How can Web 3.0 become a consumer go-to when it seemingly dislikes its own consumer base? https://medium.com/cardstack/making-web-3-0-usable-part-1-e4351003a478#00ef

On Card Space, because your space is basically a website, you can change the layout. You can add, remove, and rearrange cards inside that layout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSl6nzC4JjM&t=507s

Card Catalog is like a template gallery which you can use to insert your own media or other things onto your Card Space.

I’m beta testing and I think the project is amazing. The developers are very responsive and they are trying to achieve everything they said.

i respect what cardstack is doing, certainly much more professional than most projects out there. that being said, it would put the whole community at ease if they start setting hard dates to reach significant milestones and give marketing a proper push.

Unfortunately, low rates are common for many startups. I have overseen one project. When the developers made almost the entire platform, but realized that the solution did not work, they began to rebrand. This is a typical situation. You launch the project, if it doesn't work, you analyze it and do it further

According to the roadmap, the launch should have taken place.
I follow the Cardstack project with interest. But slow progress is not pleasant.

An entrepreneur says: If you don't feel nauseous when you first look at the product you make, it means you're going slow.

I think the team needs to go a little faster. The perfect is the enemy of the good.
