Creating a powerful ecosystem that allows to build decentralized apps caan be a key factor to increse the main adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Is there an MVP? Thanks!

Yes actually, 'Cardfolio' read all about it here:

Cardstack's technology was discussed in a recent update on Card Folio:

What Cardstack tools were used in the development of the Card Folio demo (4 Edges etc.)?
Card Folio uses the following Cardstack modules:

Cardstack Hub as an orchestration server for synthesizing on-chain transaction data, third-party currency exchange data, and local user portfolio preferences data
Ethereum plugin for full indexing of Ethernet mainnet transactions, to support instantaneous retrieval of any arbitrary address and its transaction history
Git and GitHub plugin for storing and retrieving users’ personal portfolio settings and wallet address data
Card-based APIs for creating and nesting assets, wallets, transactions, portfolios, and user identity schema, logic and templates
Server-side computed properties to correlate and compute mathematical formulas on an event-driven basis
PostgreSQL-based continuous indexing, using search engine-style retrieval for fast rendering of views with many aggregates
Continuous integration (CI) and Terraform-based automated deployment pipeline for Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Additional middleware capabilities

Here’s a life-or-death question for crypto: what happens after the speculation has subsided and we want to get some real utility? And I don’t just mean utility of tokens, but apps that your mom, your aunt, your second cousin will actually use.

What is the roadmap for crypto to move from just speculation to utility and adoption?

What's with Card's ongoing decline in value? Based on the potential use case and recent partnerships. Literally wondering why would anyone be dumping their bags at the moment. One the other hand, guess all this bots faking volume are making it really hard to know what's real anymore

I think that it depends just by the market conditions: after september 2018 I've never seen an ICO that is able to mantain the token's value for more than 2 weeks.
Yeah, I've been noticing that too. in my own opinion, it goes as far back as June. If only the market could decouple and stop being so dependent on BTC movement. Best time to accumulate though. Have had enough time to trim the fat off portfolio and make room for gems like this

Hi there, we do not discuss token price in this group, I hope you understand.
Would recommend you take that jive talk to telegram and try and enforce your rules there. This is a public forum. What's more, it's a public thread and there's nothing in BTT rule that say we can't talk about project specific concerns. If I was shilling another product, you'll have every right to call me back in line, but freedom of speech still dictates that I'm still within my rights to express a view or opinion.

Also, this is NOT A GROUP. It's a THREAD. Learn the difference

The latest from the Cardstack team on Telegram:

Quote
"Just to provide you with some updates:

We will turn off the Cardstack dashboard and replace it with a new portfolio / wallet system that is based on the recently open-sourced Card Folio codebase (github.com/cardstack/portfolio).

Additionally, the development and design team is working on another set of features (codenamed Card Board) that will be presented towards the end of March at EmberConf. It will be open-sourced and shared with the community shortly thereafter.

Card Folio and Card Board are the first two application tools that will be launched on card.space-hosted services. This shows the range of use cases that Cardstack can support. It also gives developers two codebases which they can learn from and with which they can start to experiment.

We will keep the community up-to-date as we make further progress."

Cardstack Vision Paper
On Decentralization of User Experiences and Fair Distribution of Rewards in Future Software Markets

Quote
To gain mass-market adoption, we need to bridge the gap between the blockchain and the cloud. The blockchain software stack needs to be smartly synthesized with the cloud application stack to form a true “full stack” application platform. This interaction of blockchain and cloud, new and old, challengers and incumbents, open and closed as well as decentralized and centralized systems was the point at which Cardstack was conceived three years ago. We were witnesses of the amazing outpouring of support during the Ethereum token sale. We saw the potential of smart contracts, as many did; but as experienced software entrepreneurs and former enterprise technologists, we were acutely aware of likely roadblocks to adoption. Therefore, we decided to focus on the needs and wants of the end user as if they were our own. Working in parallel with the bottom-up exploration led by the crypto-currency community, we worked to imagine what these next-generation applications would look like from the top down — that is, from the user’s vantage point. Three years and millions of dollars of research and development efforts later, we have built and released a “full stack” application and integration framework that provides the Cohesive User Experience (CUE), which spans the blockchain and the cloud. We call this open-source project Cardstack.

It's an older article, but have you read Chris' argument about Web 3.0, and why “decentralization” isn’t enough?

Card Folio, the decentralized finance sample app recently demoed to our community on Discord, showcases the Cardstack Framework’s ability to synthesize disparate data sources across blockchains and the cloud. The app’s code has been officially open-sourced, with more documentation on the way.
