I heard you, I agree - the development of fundamental solutions for a project is more important. Is the DARP protocol a "dynamic and adaptive radio protocol" or something else?

Totally agree, but the thing is that we're 100% focused on the Programmable Internet concept. Getting more into specifics - the SDN technology and it's very first product - NOIA App which is coming out soon. So, for now, our CDN nodes are like an investment in the future - eventually, they will be transitioned and start working on DARP protocol, the one that Bill Norton is developing for quite a long time. Basically, nodes will ping each other and collect very important data, like latency measures between them. This data will be stored in a decentralized distributed ledger, so the controller will know what's the most efficient path at any given time.
More publications regarding the Product launch strategy will soon be released, we will try to explain all of that in a simple way. I am sure that the community and newcomers are gonna love this.

Understood, I’ll add to the instructions, since without this it is impossible to start a node in work. But I would recommend making a simple page to check the operation of the node, type something by entering the IP address (and probably the wallet address) and an automatic check is done, it seems to me that this will be both convenient and a more technologically high-quality solution

I am glad to help ! All that we do - we do to improve and develop the network! The only question is whether it is necessary to indicate the channelgram and the administrator’s channel, to check the operation of the node or can this check be done somehow?

For those who are interested or have nothing to do
I have a micro computer ODROID C2 (ARM, Ubuntu, https://www.hardkernel.com/shop/odroid-c2/), a relative of Raspberry Pi 3-4, but a different processor. I got the idea to run the NOIA node on this microcomputer.

What is necessary to achieve the goal:
0. Internet, static address, with support for Ipv6
1. OS Ubuntu 18
2. Install IPv6 Support
3. Set the necessary environment
4. Install the NOIA node itself
After reading the manuals, searching for information, I got this instruction, which ultimately gives the NOIA WORKING node on ODROID Ubuntu 18

0. This is solved with the provider, configured on your router. I use Mikrotik, which I recommend to you

Run the terminal on ubuntu. When entering commands, carefully read the answers, sometimes recommendations may appear that are worth following.

Verify that we have IPv6
ip -6 addr
In response, you should get an "Internet ip6 address", which starts in 2001:
inet6 2001: xxxx: xxxx: xxxxx: xxxx: xxxx: xxxx: xxxx / 128 scope global dynamic noprefixroute

If received - everything is OK, if not - configure and run ip6 support

We ping ipv6 to make sure everything is working fine:
ping6 ipv6.google.com

After installing the OS, it is worth updating the system and its components:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt dist-upgrade

for reliability we boot
sudo reboot

Configure ports, firewall:
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp –-dport 8048 -j ACCEPT
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p udp –-dport 8058 -j ACCEPT
we set the rules for the firewall:
sudo ufw allow 8048 / tcp
sudo ufw allow 8058 / udp

Next, we put all the necessary environment:
sudo apt update
sudo apt -y install curl git npm build-essential python-dev

install node.js version 10, current 12, but for some reason 10 is indicated in the manuals, did not take risks with 12, who wants to can check how it works under version 12:

install noia-node-cli:

check and run the node:
npm start

At the first start, it can say that “something went wrong,” and it will restart on a new node after 15 seconds, my node started just like that

It remains only to configure the node itself - open the file "node.settings" in a convenient editor, find the parameter "airdropAddress" in the section "node.blockchain", by default it will be NULL, and change NULL to the address of your wallet that you registered when you passed KUS. Save changes, close the file.
And run your node on ODROID
npm start

Everything works, brings income, benefits and joy!

UPDATE: and most importantly - do not forget to go to the telegram channel and admin to throw a request to check the operation of the node - while only in this way you can be 100% convinced that the node is working

Recently a lot of positive news has been published, most likely they have influenced the growth of the token and soon NOIA will launch public testing of the NOIA App.

is the price increase organic? no manipulations whatsoever? i understand they have things going on here like the one posted on medium. for those who bought this 2 weeks ago, they are already reaping their profits even if they sell it right now. what are the major factors that are pushing their price aside from this IETF stuff?

Haha. Lucky those who bought NOIA tokens at minimum.  In just 10 days the price has grown by about 4 times. I can't wait to test the NOIA application on ourselves.

Our community views NOIA as a project with strong business fundamentals, which are focused on long-term. This is why they are not so much concerned about the token price movements. They know that there is a lot to come in terms of business and tech development.

It is amazing that NOIA's Bitcointalk thread is relatively quiet compared to other coins that have massive losses (90% plus). I guess it must be because the project didn't have anybounty hunters or much forum goers as investors.
