Depends on the use cases, in general the owner of the local physical grid will create a hive and receive a fee for the exchange of energy within the hive.
A hive can be a micro grid, a low voltage grid, a multi-tenant building, etc. So to answer your question electrical companies will be involved because they will be the owners of the hives and will participate into the market.

i would definitely recommend this project to the people because this has a big effect and use to the people since most of us experience high electric bill with the application we can now monitor our consumption and with that we can control our daily usage that will result to lessen our electric bill , the project is really great .good idea and mostly it will help people
