The volume for this coin even if it's a project from a popular personality, isn't good. Only two exchanges at the moment as I can see.

Does anyone see other exchanges that isn't listed on coinmarketcap and it's listed? I would personally think that this coin can only be good for trading but not with real life based applications.

Yesterday was an important day for the Akion project and Akion supporters and investors too, Akion got listed on bittrex global with 2 pairs, btc and usdt, there was no ieo for akn so it was a direct listing, currently trading at $0.15, so far since launch i noticed the price is just stable on $0.15, i was hoping to see a spike since only Akoin has the token and there are more interested investors base on the activities on their official telegram group.

I really wanted to see this celebrity coin on the top 100 on coinmatketcap. Hoping that investors adopt Akoin as a great cryptocurrency investment like those big names already in the future.
I found this project after reviewing on youtube post by Akon where many useful information are found for crypto investors. I found that people are participating in this project and wants more news about launch day, IEO listing etc. I felt that Akoin for African and beyond will satisfy top investors in crypto community.

Most times I too wonder why many new projects are still sticking with Ethereum blockchain even at the midst of the congestion and high fees.
That could be the main reason why even when the fees is nonsense to be paid by the users to create a small tx and so many coins are still using ethereum as the parent chain.

Hello, why would you choose Stellar network? For me and many newcomers it is more complicated user interface than Ethereum has. I understand that for now Stellar is faster and cheaper, but in few months situation could change.
I think it is better this way, there is always a first time so I would suggest you try and get yourself acquainted with the stellar network to understand it, i also think it is high time other project start shifting from over congested eth network to other easy and less expensive network in blockchain,
I don't see the point why many projects won't use other network when we have different options available, eth is killing us with high transaction fees and I don't think it will reduce anytime soon.

Nevertheless, Akoin project team can still migrate to another blockchain, maybe back to the Ethereum blockchain later in their project life but in my own opinion, I think it's wise starting with Stellar first so that new investors will be able to cast their full support without being discouraged by high gas fee.
though stellar network is not popular among crypto users, but it's true that we need to use other network other than eth because of the unreasonable gas fees. it is the same feeling when we started to use eth network, we tried to understand how things work. so with stellar. and if we wont start today, then when? so i guess, stellar is one good option for them to explore their opportunities in crypto. we should not stick to only one option, we may discover the benefits of using stellar in this journey...
