I have noticed that one of my 1 holes has a different glow than others. Dare I say "sparkle". Hmm. Could actually be a cs with a border???

Cardsmithing mystery grows. I must say it isn't dull. Frustrating but not boring.

Hope these show ok but top is most sparkle. Middle is base and bottom a holo I think.

After seeing @Montreal pic above - confirms even more that the middle card is an error.

Your hunch is spot on. I open a case or 2 and no 1 or 1a cs ( unless I got confused and sold it inadvertently). In 2 cases I got zero 9s of any flavor so cardsmiths need a better card shuffling system. In same session got 5 or 6 1a base.

Until I see a pic 1 and 1a cs are dead to me lol.

Top looks like holo to me. Bottom looks like base. Middle looks like some sort of error. I only have a base and holo of these and it looks exactly like the top and bottom (1st and 3rd)

I was going to try HGA grading. They seem more chill. Plus they do custom slabs to match card. Will make those serial number Refractor types shine. But... psa is still king. You lose value not going with psa so hga for personal collection.

Hello everyone. Good afternoon. Heard about a card burn from a collector on ebay. Found this thread after some google searches and decided to join the fun. Been in the hobby for awhile but I like Bitcoin also. This set is cool. Will probably see yall in the the trade section also. My ebay is the same as this one. Thanks to anyone who has dealt with me. I’m a collector - not a seller. I do trade occasionally. I speculated that the reward for “burning” 62 cards is worth the price of a completed set. Either way - we will see. I’ve been wrong before and spent more $$$ on dumber stuff… but will definitely be trading in one set. It’s just fiat - always more to be made

kudos to those early birds that swooped up 1a bases from early on before anyone knew how valuable they were. a common theme in card trading. early bird gets the worm. i got in late, but i had a "hot box" with about 5 1As. dumb luck.
