works like a charm for me... (always did) did you upgrade to the correct wallet ?

Guess yes: v1.1.0.0 from JackpotCoin11.zip
And a miner gpuminer_v2s.zip (sha3+new algo).

Edit: wallet was working well till today. Now it freezes from time to time :|

Problem right now is the missing trust in the QT.....

Is this info correct ?

getpeerinfo returns some peers with
Code:
"version" : 0,
"subver" : "",
What are these? Self compiled qt for linux/mac?!
Edit: looks like nodes after some time are updated and getpeerinfo starts to show correct version for those IPs... Strange...

And still getting random freezes of QT. How to find the reason of that? Debug.log every time is finished with different action. Maybe there is a way to turn on detailed log?

As I can see from getpeerinfo, lots of people are still using qt ver. 1.0.0 Sad

Im using v1.1.0.0 and got the stuck problem as described... and Im angry. 12h mining with 4 rigs, each 1200Watts per hour. lost.

Close wallet, delete peers.dat, run wallet again. Hope this helps.

I just had to close the wallet. But I did it because someone here wrote we are at block 6000+

In my QT, getmininginfo showed the actual date and time, it was synced so nothing to worry: Block 3200something.
I was wondering why I didnt found a block for 12h but thats all....

So it was stuck, but getmininginfo worked just not the right block#. All my rigs were mining with the old algo, each card 30mh/s.

grabbed the cpu miner from the repo and compiled it for Windows x64 and configured "-march=native -O3" w/ Mingw64
i am pushing 6 of my 8 available threads to 82kh/s instead of 30kh/s ..she's faster Smiley

BUT Libcurl was a bitch and started giving me errors..
OP you used a lot of files with all the Libcurl stuff stripped out so i modded the whole thing with files from cpuminer 2.3.3
after i did that it compiled fine in one attempt Smiley

if people want i can upload the whole folder that has the modded files *for compiling (i did not change the source code at all)

the build i made and mentioned is optimized for my Intel 4770k cpu which is a newer cpu and has newer instructions that can be taken advantage of by the Compiler.
hence why it was faster.. plus the one shared by the OP is 32bit and 64bit miners in my experience have ALWAYS been faster..

edit:
I stopped my nvidia miner perm..
i started using the cpu miner i mentioned and i switched to the sgminer mentioned in the op's first post..
the recommended one called "gpuminer_v2s.zip"
all i did was drop my intensity down a bit to 18.. which is a whole lot slower than before now ..now i am doing 2.136mh/s on my 7950
hope the info helps ya all Wink

So we are at block 6006. Hardfork just happened Smiley

With new miner after block 6000 I get ~1.3Mh/s on 6770.

Dev, what about QT freeze problem? Or is it only me having this problem?

WTF ?! MY QT was stuck at Block 3200something and I mined all night for nothing ?   Come on devs......

Even when I tried getmininginfo, it showed real time and date but block 3271 and counting upwards ?!
Restarted QT and now block 6011 ?!

Edit: have to kill and restart QT every ~30min when miner is running. Looks like it freezes when trying to get blocks from network (syncing).

i was asking what changed in what miner posted.. not advice to hey yeah just grab anything and click on it lol

if you don't know then you don't know i guess right ?

if the sgminer some random guy posted 20 pages back with a hack for SHA3 only was posted (that the OP himself later started passing around too)
and a fork was made specifically to stop that miner then.... uhhhhhhh do we get it yet ? lol
notice the OP's quote says he has made a new version that is SHA3 only for use AFTER block 6000 ?

blocks : 5965
and this is confusing Sad

edit:
and just got this too..

as in 2d is a CPU miner not gpu miner..

should i go on ? ..a ton of that makes no sense

What needed ""fixing"" was the exploit chubner (cudaminer dev) found enabling Nvidia guys to rape the coin by disabling other hashing algo's used
