like i said. on august 30 i got an email of "failed loggin" from mintpal. Perhaps they got lucky with some one old account that doesn't check on karma often enough to realized he has been hacked.

Who knows but Socoban showed movement from some accounts out of what likely is an exchange. Not sure how much one person could have had on an exchange but last time it was both Mintpal and Cryptsy. It would be interesting to know when the coins were moved there.
Alt coin traders hold almost 100% of coins on cryptsy. There is so many coins, that it is impossible to withdraw every single currency to offline wallet. KARM is like any other currency. I own like 50 different coins and I never withdrew anything except LTC/BTC/KARM/PTS.. Most of coins I hold are only on cryptsy, if Cryptsy gets robbed, those coins will die anyway with Cryptsy. I told it multipletimes, I belive 30-50% of all alt coins are on exchanges, sometimes it is even more than 90%.
