So as i don´t understand how to use the p2p pool i will point my lone warrior towards xhash!
.......

Nothing could be easier than using P2Pool.
point your miner to -   stratum+tcp://p2pool.altcoin.dk:9435
use your karma receive address as your user and "x" as your password....or anything for that matter.

BOOM! no having to sign up, create worker or all that. Coin falls regular into your wallet.
NOTHING could be easier.
Have two rigs ? Use different addresses to see what they each mine.

i think there is 2 forks guys
i will fix my block explorer... it will be ready in ten minutes. hang on.

while i appreciate this is your block explorer do we not have "the" block explorer as in the main one? only reason i stumbled across your is due to it being linked on the xhash page

His/this block explorer is currently the official block explorer.
http://karma.explorer.altcoin.dk/chain/Karmacoin & http://explorer.karmacoin.me/chain/Karmacoin

The above block explorer is now offline presumably being updated.

We have forked Karma, obviously there are 2 forks. Exchanges and everyone else has agreed x11 is the correct fork. Blocks will always be mined under the old scrypt algorithm however they are worthless because no exchange or anyone else for that matter will accept them as being valid.

If there are 2 forks, it probably means it is working correctly. I'm sure Kosmost (the lead developer) will confirm soon.

It will take sites several days to update their information. The Karma Team have advised all the sites they could think of and I'm sure they will be sending reminders to those sites over the next couple of days.

Chargin.

yes, xHashs wallet and my wallet show the exaxct same number of blocks.

On a side note, the Spanish thread was updated. Feel free to check it out whenever you want. Maybe you want to practice your Spanish? You are welcome to the family Smiley

no p2p pool helps the network..

all you have to do is go to your wallet. create a new address to receive coins. copy that address

go to your miners. make a new .bat file with

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://p2pool.altcoin.dk:9435 -u place your new address here -p pass

that simple. p2p pool do not keep your coins. they get payed as soon as they mature. this prevents any wallets from owning all the coins.

I'm very sorry people I did something foolish.

I thought I had changed the block explorer to use an updated wallet but i had forgotten about it in the rush to get p2pool and some other karma-related stuff working.

Problem is that the block explorer is now on the defunced scrypt-fork. I need to roll it back to block 255,000 and then let it run on the x11 fork. This will take the database some time to work out.

I am fixing it as soon as humanly and computaionally possible but not within the next 10 minutes.  Probably within the hour.

Sorry again people, I know you depend on it working :|

At xhash there is someone with 5.5GH ?! Is it even possible or he is trying to fake shares :O

xhash says that it displays wrong statistics and that they will fix it... look at your notifications guys

We read them, be sure... But meanwhile this fake miner gets shares... OUR SHARES!!!!

block explorer states currently on block 255013 while xhash is reporting block 255034.. they were aligned before the fork.. could it be possible we have 2 forks?

The block explorer is not updated yet. This is being worked on.

we will choose to go with the x11 fork.
