Quick update!

2GIVE is now listed on three exchanges

YOBit listed it without our even having to ask:

https://yobit.net/en/trade/2GIVE/BTC

You'd probably make more just by downloading the wallet and enabling "Compete for block rewards (POW)"  -- there are some large transactions dropping 1% rewards onto the miners with a lot of smaller ones people turn around and send them to the exchanges.

Well Thanks, However, what's the connection between KARMA and 2GIVE?

2GIVE is actually supported and doing real good ??

I've been a longtime fan of Karma but have watched it sit and spin it's wheels as well as some really bad actors get involved over the years.

I had offered to help the base move in a more reputable direction a couple of years ago with support and investment but was turned away.

I'm offering other fellow Karma holders a chance to do something productive with their coins instead of waiting around for another "pump and dump" scheme

The good news is you can of course hold both -- if you download the 2GIVE wallet you can turn on mining and compete for the 1% block rewards that fly across the network with every send.

But if you want to get out of Karma, I can offer you a path...

Karma to 2GIVE? Swap ratio 10000:1?

Yes that is what I'm offering.

I have a wallet online and fully sync'd with the network -- showing 18 connections at the moment.

You download 2GIVE at http://2Give.Info/#download

Generate your Give* address and then PM me with it -- I will create a deposit address for you to send KARMA to, minimum 10K units and I will send 2GIVE back to you.

I'd like to cordially invite you all to consider a "reverse-merger" into 2GIVE the new POS/POW Givecoin 2.0 crypto that is easy to mine in the wallet to compete for the 1% TXFEE block rewards!

Do remember these few things:

You do not need to do a swap on Karmacoin guys and gals, the wallets for Cryptsy are frozen via a court order in that part of USA.

You should expect to get your Karma coins back, within the next few years after they have they've forensically sorted out the mess of what is left of Cryptsy.

Those people who, had they crypto in BTC and LTC may never get them back.

They Golden Rule: about criminals who steal cryptos, is they only want to be rich in Fiat Currency and the only cryptos worth stealing to sell into Fiat (easy to convert) are the Top 5 cryptos.

Those 50 Billion Karma coins belong to you, the depositors.

When Mintpal went down, I had only Dash coins on that exchange and after 6 months I got those Dash coins back.

Therefore, you guys and gals should be working on re-establishing a good crypto exchange network, wallet and a hardfork off X11.

Then, when you get you Karma coins back, it you will go back to having crypto currency with a net work of $316,442.

Any way to get Karma on a big exchange like Poloniex?  Yobit and Alcurex doesn't have enough users to bring some attention back to Karma.

when you see what shit is being pumped on Yobit.... (007, TRUMP,...) then be patient KARMA will be pumped too.

I would suggest Cryptopia, because it looks like it will become quite popular in the long run and it has Litecoin exchange.

Also, Karma coin had decent volume at Cryptsy, it would be attractive to the exchange.

welp. not that we should keep pushing people to put their coin on more exchanges..

anyways. i believe alcurex is gonna grow soon. so lets be happy we are on any exchange for now. remember bittrex was the hot spot until polo stole the thunder.

mintpal was the junior until it blew up.

hopefully yobit or alcurex will blow up soon.

but that still leave the question. you got some karma coins, nice! now what?

yes. as long as you make back ups of your wallet.dat

thats where your private keys reside and thus what proves ownership of your coins..

i would suggest going into the block explorer and see if you can manually add those add nodes.

perhaps delete your peer.dat file and load your wallet with the newer nodes.
Hi, any plans on the thing I mentioned to you?

HI guys,

Placebo, Im very sorry to know that you lost so much in Cryptsy, let us hope that like in mintpal we can recover them...

If anyone of you can open a node, it will help KArma network to update faster. Thanks.

-east

It is part of life... but what i would hate is that KARMA will move higher and that Big Vern will dump on us... and he has a lot of coins, would be much better if those were all gone, even when i lose 1,000,000,000 i still have 700.000.000 that are on Yobit.

I lost a few hundred million coins on Cryptsy too.
In reality though, it is the coin holders own fault for giving their coins to what was very clearly an insecure exchange. Especially after the Mintpal collapse and all of the warning signs.

that being said.. I would rather have my coins be destroyed than end up in the hands of criminals.
Karma is about a giving economy not rewarding people for negligent or criminal behaviour.

Now obviously there is no way to destroy coins if you do not have access to the private keys that control them..
However we could in theory put in some new code and hard fork the blockchain to black list all addresses associated with cryptsy.

The benefits of this would be:
           1) that nobody, not even big vern would be able to transfer the coins from those addresses.
           2) there would be a significant reduction in the amount of coins in circulation.

ultimately though a drastic measure such as this would need network consensus to take hold and might even set a dangerous precedent.

One thing is for certain though. If people do get their coins back from crapsty.. they will only move them to the next exchange for trading until that one too collapses.

First thing to do is to get a functional wallet that will sync, without having to add nodes, and go in to %appdata% every time its opened. Now, that would be a great place to start. Its hard to want to mine, or trade this coin when there is so much concern if you will even be able to receive the coins.

I only had to edit the wallet configuration file in %appdata% once. I edited it with some peers from the block explorer, and it's been smooth sailing with plenty of connected peers every time i start the wallet.
