BarterDEX isn't like a traditional exchange where you just pick a random number and dump that much. In order for an exchange to take place, you have to have an amount of CoinA and want an an amount of CoinB, at the same time, the other party has to have that amount of CoinB (or close to it) *and* they have to want that amount of CoinA. If you try to sell 3 CHIPS at 0.1453 KMD to someone who's largest UTXO is 0.2 KMD, then the trade will not go through.

There's some "hit and miss" trial and error involved in getting used to it, but it all starts with letting go of expectations of everything you know from some other thing and learning this new thing. 

Is this a good place to ask Barterdex questions?

I was trying to sell some CHIPS for KMD. There were buy orders present on  both sides of the market, mostly with 255 UTXO's. I clicked on various orders/amounts with low average volume and it filled the Min Price Sell and Max Amount Sell fields, but the amounts were different than the values shown on the BUY orders in the order book that I had originally clicked on to fill the fields.

So then I hit the SELL button, and a few moments later, my order appears on the sell side, but no transaction takes place. It seems odd that the buy orders keep going up in price, but nobody buys my lower-priced orders.

I have 15 KMD on deposit to allow for easy transactions.

Is there a reason my orders are not going through?

I would look in C:\BarterDEX-win64-x64\resources\app\assets\bin\win64\ and look at marketmaker.exe file. Im not too savy but it looks like marketmaker.exe is not executing. Maybe make sure you can execute it manually?

If you guys get a version of this that people can jus download and it will automatically default to lite for all coins on all OS.  Mac, Win and Linux you will have the monopoly.  I would consider myself an advanced user and it is still some what complicated at this point.   I see the genius in what you are doing.  I was able to set it up and get it working with minimal effort but to the normal user another story.    The problem is everyone i have told about this cant even begin to get it working.  Im sure you guys know this but it is going to have to be a one click thing to get the people that matter to drive a coins values though the roof to be applicable.  Im sure what i am stating is obvious to to you.  I know you are moving that direction.  I believe in Komodo and the team!   Holding my bags. What you guys have done this far is amazing!

The last command (mmstatus closed) just continues to loop over and over again.

oh lol guess I should have read closer. I'd open it in a console window and see if you can get any clues from there.

The issue isn't with Agama, it is with Barterdex.

If you don't need all of the features, you can use Agama in Lite mode. There is a setting to change when you first launch it and then use your passphrase to login.

From my experience, if you start the wallet in Native mode and make transactions, you'll probably get multiple receive addresses; in this case you would want to back up your wallet and/or get the keys for each address (cli from options). If you subsequently start up Agama in Lite mode, your passphrase is only associated with the original address so you would only see that amount. You could import the other receive addresses using the keys you got previously. Hope that makes sense. If you only intend to make send/receive transactions or claim interest, I would stick with Lite.

I have deactivated both my firewall and antivirus. I have Agama v0.2.0.26d-beta synced up in native mode and barterdex 0.8.4rc does not do anything other than continue the starting text.

I have some questions. I guess this is the right place to ask and receive answers.

1. How much do I need for staking Komodo? Is there any minimum amount?
2. Does my PC and Agama wallet have to be open in order to get stake?
3. Is that simple as Neo? What should I do for claiming stake reward?
4. Is the problem with Ledger wallet solved? Can I get stake using Ledger wallet?
5. I installed Agama wallet. Which one should I choose? Lite mode or Native mode?
6. Any other special thing I should know?

If I have my KMD in full version could I See them in lite too after I restart the wallet or there is a another address there?
