I think it is the right decision. I have two Bitcoin transactions unconfirmed since days and I sent them with 42 and 61 Sats per Byte. This is much fee and still it is not confirmed. The current Bitcoin design has reached its limit and the developers and decision makers should really come to a solution which holds for longer otherwise many more similar projects will follow.

Perhaps it could be changed for notarizing with LTC instead, I am sure it is possible as it has already been said by team members that they could do that, it would also show how adaptable things really are with KMD.

I don't know how much work would be involved but it is an idea.
notarizations is one of the few usecases that is not time sensitive, so there really is not need to switch. We could if any other coin sustains a higher hash rate on what looks to be a permanent basis. The purpose of dPoW is to add security and while BTC is not any good now for atomic swaps, it is still good for security

so whats the news in abu dhabi conference? is it good news?

I believe they are concentrating 100% on the dICO right now. After the launch there may be lots of updates forthcoming.

Guys, I'm really confused. I've downloaded the agama wallet and on all get started videos I see Basilisk mode and creating a wallet seed to backup the wallet. But in the app there is only Native mode (with whole blockchain download) and no way to create a seed just to save privkeys. What am I doing wrong?  Huh

Start it in Native mode, then in Settings click “turn on experimental features” (or something like that); then shut it down; then re-start it; you should have lite mode available.

At startup it showed me immediately native or lite mode, and in lite you just click create new and it shows you a way to create a new seed.

It is really just a matter of time until the first dICO will be launched. Fine tuning the codes is important . This is to ensure the integrity and security (very) of the supernet ecosystem.
I know Komodo keeps cropping up in the news because of the good performance of its platform . Sure we have to get the great perspective here.

Bitcoin is in its rallying point at the moment reaching again an all time high at $17k . Almost all alt-coins are greatly affected by this so majority are hedging their assets to bitcoin . So the price of KMD is going down.

I think it 's not going down but it's increasing highly if we can see the USD price .
Now it nearly hits 4usd today maybe it will hit 5$ in this week as well.
Do not throw away a potential coin in next year because it can hit 50 usd  .

Using ubuntu 16.04.3

I downloaded from

https://github.com/SuperNETorg/BarterDEX/releases/tag/0.7.3-beta

Unzipped then doubleclicked on the file BarterDEX, this did not load anything for me.

You are using old version:

Here is a newer one

Hey, just installed the 25d version of Agama, everything went smooth, I just have a (maybe stupid) question.
What are the thing I should backup besides the seed phrase? Export private keys and print them out/store them safely? Make a backup of the wallet.dat file?
In the settings menu I find two options, either the export keys function, which I assume is where I can manually export the combination of letters and the wallet.dat keys, aren't these the same?

Probably kind of basic questions, sorry.

Anyone?

I know there are plans for Komodo to hit Korean exchange soon.    Do you have plans for more exchanges to increase coin volume and availability?  I attribute ltc growth mainly to coinbase.   Any thoughts?

It is already listed on binance which is one of the largest korean exchanges.
