Anyone know if Trezor will support KMD? I get that Ledger does already (minus the ability to collect interest ATM). I would think they would be able to given they already support ZEC but I don't see it listed as a supported coin.
I would also like to know this question... this was the exact reason i was checking out the thread! I was told to put it in their wallet tho for staking rewards

I too would be interested in knowing if this is possible or on the docket.
this is a question more for trezor. clearly it is possible as trezor supports ZEC and ledger supports KMD.

the accruing and collecting of interest might be an extra day's work, but it really isnt that hard to do
Claiming interest on the Ledger Nano S would be really great, I'm waiting for that since the release of the Ledger Komodo App.
Also, there is no possibility to access the JUMBLR if the KMD stayed at the Ledger Wallet at the time of the snapshot, that would be awesome too.

How does barterdex differ from Bitshares decentralized exchange or from the DEX being built by BLOCK?
bitshares is a proxy token based DEX, when you trade on it you dont actually trade the coins, just a token that represents the coin. Who guarantees that the token will be able to be traded for the real one? Even if they use automated multisig like our MGW did years ago, it is still nowhere are reliable as atomic swapping the actual coin.

The DEX being built by BLOCK appears to be the closest to what barterDEX is. From what I have seen the ordermatch system is different and they also dont support electrum servers like barterDEX does.

The upcoming dICO will be a first mass usage usecase for a native coin DEX.

Appreciate the info. I am really learning something in this thread. Worth coming back again and again.

It is good to hear that having KMD has an advantage towards participating Monaize ICO. Some sort of privilege for having Komodo tokens at its initial offering of Monaize tokens.

Guys,
our site https://www.crypto-coinz.net is back online and the calculator has been fixed from the unexpected hosting outage. You can check KOMODO mining performance once again.

I'm sure this has been covered but darned if I can find it.

I thought the jumblr airdrop was supposed to happen around this time. I'm holding my Komodo in my OSX wallet... should I see the jumblr in there automatically or is there a process to go through to claim them?

Already happened. Your private key in the Agama Wallet should pick it up as the Jumblr tokens are associated with the existing Komodo addresses at the time of the snapshot.

I haven't followed Komodo for some time. I read the last approx 10 pages to get informed about the recent developments and I found people are talking a lot of time about dICO. What exactly is it? Never heard about it before.

https://blog.komodoplatform.com/monaize-komodo-and-our-symbiotic-relationship-9f8647db5abe

My understanding is basically MNZ is utilizing KMD's functionality for their ICO in November and given that KMD has Barterdex (decentralized exchange), the whole ICO event remains decentralized instead of relying on one centralized point of failure.

I have probably missed it somehow, how will SuperNET engage in the first dICO? Will it at all?
Well, as a cautious investor, seeing JL777 not answering my question when he was online for 10-15 minutes after I posted it makes me wonder.// Not many choices, though.

If public (SuperNET, myself included) funds do not participate, should I? Why would I do such a stupid thing then?
If it does, (again, having my funds there), how? I am looking for easy to understand explanation of how (or if) SuperNET funds are going to be used in the first dICO//

Your team's silence on this one makes me tipsy. If you want big guys to participate, at least tell them explicitly what they are dealing with.
P.S. James, I'm a real fun of your work, staying close for years, please explain.
SuperNET will already have a position in MNZ. I dont usually announce ahead of time my trading moves. In any case, you should decide on your own and not do it based on what somebody else does.

Check the time of your previous post against James last time online.

You posted 4 minutes after he logged off so no need to be a drama queen.

I believe SuperNET already own 5% of monaize.

I thought KMD already owned a portion of Monaize as well? So if they would invest, the money would just flow back to themselves?

Komodo seems like very good altcoin, especially now. Definitely good time to invest some money here

We have a huge huge opportunity with barterDEX now.If all works correctly can be the new Poloniex.Decentralized exchanges are the next step in crypto and being the first is very important.HODL

What the relation of barterDEX with Komodo. If barterDEX become a success how this could impact Komodo and why?
barterDEX is the KMD ecosystem DEX
KMD is the ecosystem coin

As one does well, the other will do well

So to use barterDEX is needed KMD?
Not strictly needed, but it will be the most convenient.
It is like the default install settings, vast majority will go with the recommended default.

I dont believe in forcing people by locking them in, it is about freedom, not lockins. Also, it is open source, if you start adding onerous restrictions, you help create forks without restrictions.

By being the best solutions without restrictions, there is no demand for a fork and path of least resistance will increase KMD usage.

Also, for specific things like dICO, the first hours are limited to KMD and for oversubscribed dICO, it gives a big benefit for KMD

I got it. Thank you.

I'm just a little confuse about supernet, how they participate in all this? just in the agama wallet or something more?
supernet is the people that make the KMD ecosytem
hope that isnt too confusing

I little bit... thanks for you patience and attention. I'll wish the best for KMD. Personally I very bullish with what is coming.
