We definitely do not want to be associated with a service that was shutdown by the United States government.

I was going to mention that.

Money laundering & potential criminal charges is not a good direction.

For me, thats part of the business Wink

I mean, we all know what SilkRoad did to Bitcoin, so what?

Its called freedom, who cares. Everyone is responsible for they're own actions. Not the coin itself.

+1 we wont attach our self to the Liberty Reserve, but we need the people who used it on our Side & buy libertycoin. To make a statement for the US. You cant stop us!

Yea we definitely dont want to be associated with that shit..

Iconic, if we could get to $0.40-$0.50 in about 57 days? that would be awesome. I got extremely lucky on my first cryptocurrency purchase. I bought blackcoin at 500 sat with some throwaway money and made quite a bit in a month. I sold half at 90,000 sat (unfortunately the other half is floating in cryptorush fantasy land). I have taken those profits and added some and bought Libertycoin.

As I say, if we could get to $0.40-$0.50 in just under 2 months time, that would be totally awesome.

If we could get to $1-$2, I'd be looking at more money than I've seen at one time since I purchased my home.

If we could get to $5-$6 (say in probably 6months to a year), all I could say is omg.

NeuTroiste, thank you for adding motivation for a large sector of our community.

BTW, everybody talks about DarkCoin but the fact of the matter is that the DarkCoin IPO price was around 70 cents

It took like 2 months for them to have 1000% ROI.

LibertyCoin made 1000% in 4 days after IPO and without anon Wink

So you can see where this is going don't you? Stick around, join us, this is going to be big!

When I said we will get to the top 10 in 60 days I meant it. We do not need to use a now defunct service to get us there. I am working on a plan that will set Libertycoin apart from rest. I believe in transparency and I will share some ideas as time goes on. However, since we have people copying our ideas I wont reveal anything publicly until needed.

BTW: Darkcoin is doing very well but it will die eventually unless they change the name. Darkcoin sounds way to ominous and reminds me of something "evil". It will be hard to convince merchants to accept "Darkcoin". We have a brand that we can build on, and now we just need to build an infrastructure and community around it. Week after week we will be giving the world something new!

Thats the only reason I don't see Darkcoin or Blackcoin ever going mainstream.. Libertycoin is one hell of a coin or will be once anonymous features are implemented.. Libertycoin cause of its high end name should be accepted by more merchants and new investors then other odd named crypto currencies..

Power to the Libertycoin community...

Your work is greatly apprecieated, IE

I also think Darkcoin has negative connotations in it's name.

Same with many other "insert-weird-name-here" coins.

Whatever the future holds, a successful launch without any negativity attached to the name or community is vital for public uptake.

After all, it's not just a currency to trade with others and make a quick buck, it is a currency for the general population to use on a daily basis.

I have only been mining for 3 months, but the little BTC I got before scrypt ASICs came along has been converted to Libertycoin.

Having never traded before and only trading for a week or so, I've managed to increase my holding by 35%

Out of the 200 coins out there, Libertycoin has the biggest potential, especially for newcomers like myself.

Yes, but Bitcoin replaced Liberty Reserve.

The only reason why Bitcoin is still around is because the US government cant shut it down, otherwise they would have done it already like they did to Liberty Reserve.

There is no company that they can seize to stop Bitcoin Wink

Issue is that Bitcoin doesn't have the anon functionality.

This may look bad but it would actually have the potential to put us on the headlines everywhere, this would be huge I think.

But anyway, lets see what happens

If we can promote the comeback of a 'new' liberty reserve. This thing will skyrocket.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Reserve read it & learn.

Actually would not be a bad idea..... The market cap of the old Liberty Reserve was around $6 Billion if I'm not mistaken...

This would make a lot of advertisement actually  Grin

What you guys say? Dev, Iconic, LibertyCoin?

Lets put this at a 6 Billion Market Cap?Huh??

I will quadruple the escort offer for each one of you Smiley

You guys realize that if we attach ourselves to the Liberty Reserve brand and in fact we get the same marketcap as they had.... this will put the LibertyCoin price at $375

THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS

READ AGAIN!!!

THREE...
...HUNDRED

I will sell my soul for this immediately.

LibertyCoin. The new Liberty Reserve!

This should be the slogan!!!!!!!

OMG THIS WILL MAKE IT HUGE WTF WE HAVE TO DO THIS

With the anon implemented this coin will be unstoppable, we have to attach ourselves to Liberty Reserve, THATS GONNA MAKE IT HUGE! IT WONT BE JUST ANOTHER COIN ANYMORE!
