how do I make the wallet sync?
Do I need to add nodes manually and how? I have never seen a wallet that needs configuration to sync
These are the official nodes:
addnode=162.243.90.199
addnode=106.216.171.76

You need to open/create a Libertycoin.conf file inside your Application Data/Libertycoin folder
paste the following:

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
port=55901
rpcport=55900
daemon=1
listen=1
server=1
addnode=162.243.90.199
addnode=106.216.171.76

something wrong with this site. I cannot get inside it. it told me operation time out. strange. Sad

 We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

Findblocks disabled, new blocks will currently not show up in the frontend

Everything is ok now, blocks are showing up in the front end, were being attacked again by some fool from China and it has been mitigated, all coins and shares are safe.

pool is working fine on my end , keep blocking those DOS idiots.

Yes, and Thank you for your support!, it's been the same for us as well as other pools that have been attacked in the past 72 hours by a 10gbps botnet.
Aaaaand We're launching now Block bonus for all block finders!!

anyone can try to make a tx and see the zerocoin implementation working?

It's supposed to work. But the most important thing is the size of transaction, it's a downside of Zerocoin.

Zerocoin's transaction is about 25-30kb for each because it use heavy math and cryptography.

That's why Zerocoin's dev is now developing Zerocash with reduced transaction size to 288 bytes (downed 98%). We still don't know how Zerocash can achieve this, we have to wait to see Zerocash white paper which will be publish on May 18th.

If Libertycoin is going to adopt Zerocoin's old library, its blockchain size would be huge because there is no way to reduce that 25kb transaction size (unless this is Zerocash).

Dev posted back earlier about using v2  Wink Can't really do any TX till the coins mature anyway

v2 of what ? Zerocoin v2 didn't solve the problem of transaction size.

so, I'm getting errors when trying to compile on linux and a runtime error on windows. how might I fix either of those so I can get my wallet working?

You need dev to answer this, there is a chance that he compiled clients with 'different' sources than the published one on Github.

It is reasonable to compile our own client, for the safety of course.
