The platform will then burn the token and transfer the asset or it’s equal market value back to your account. So the tokens will be burnt? And when a lot of people liquefy their tokens then a lot of tokens will be burnt too?

You're right mate the project must prioritize project transparency to stop people from doubting the authenticity of the project. The public are always look for project identity and also the people that include to the said project.
