Live Stars has been an ambitious project. Along the way, we encountered quite a few unfortunate events, including Parity multisignature wallet hack, dramatic cryptocurrency market value drop right after the token sale and several issues within the development team, which resulted in us finishing the project in cooperation with another team, as well as the Cryptopia hack and their eventual bankrupcy.
Even though we succeeded in releasing a fully functional, stable product, we have no more funds for marketing campaign for the platform nor we have funds for new exchange listing which is required now that cryptopia announced their bankrupcy.
Unfortunately, we are closing Live Stars project because there is no ways to continue developing in the current circumstances.

So where is the money gone which was for marketing? You dont have any good exchange, so you didnt pay for listing. You didnt have marketing before too. So for what you have spent money which was raised on ICO?
Good Question. The ICO was within crypto peak. To get more models for the beginning maybe it's a good idea to implement some old school atlernative payment methods. Most of the models wont be familiar with crypto world already.

We decided to use Wordpress with a custom design because this way we can easily delegate the landing website content management to our community managers.
Its nice to see the team clarifying on this matter. Anyways, do we have updates on the latest development status of the project?

livestars.io was done by some really bad html mark-up folk, just a wordpress template with close to 0 changes, with even robots.txt copied from a tutorial article.
For their "live stream platform", they purchased a VPS, used Avenocam API and that's all they did for the "project". Now should I remind you they collected millions of $ in their ICO?

My goodness! I think your point is valid since their Github link shows a "Page not found" error message in my browser which is very unusual for a project supposedly with an "active" development - https://github.com/LiveStars
Did a check on their Medium channel - https://medium.com/live-stars but found last update was in September of last year, could be better if they provide us with updates to avoid any negative feedbacks.
