if using nightz files as he directed, it would have been quicker as the entire chain was pre-loaded, then it would have been a matter of importing yr priv key.

personally i generally use it as a bootstrap. i think i've had too many experiences of importing priv key failures :p

i was wondering if there is any relationship between crazy weight figures and so many forks.
perhaps the variances in difficulty between pow and pos are problematic.

Knightz, you da man!!! Thanks for all the efforts.

Let me get it straight. Excuse me for using layman's term here. Not a coder.

Plan is to keep current chain by introducing 1.4 qt, correct?

So I should try to stick to Knightz chain, and not any other chain because they are fractured chain right?

What I should do now is try to keep my chain sync with Knightz chain by using his bootstrap.

I have few problem with Knightz bootstrap though. It keep crashing 1.3 qt gui. I tried existing wallet.dat and fresh new wallet.dat with importprivkey. Also tried merging into newly created loco folder or deleting existing chain files replacing with Knightz files. Crashing seems unavoidable.

So I just used knightz peer.dat and let it resync slow way with importedkey.

I hope this will force my chain to be aligned with knightz version.

Could I or should I do anything else after syncing is done?

Sorry for not releasing V1.4 yet I have been working on the shutdown for the wallet and as far as I can tell now once you close the wallet it will shutdown correctly Wink
