What the dev did is usually called an instamine or a premine. He should mark the thread accordingly as an instamine/premine so that new people know and do not have to study the block explorer.
They would know if they are READING the ANN, I am sorry but if people only come on here download a wallet and do Not read then they cannot complain as it is there mistake, If people read the Announcement then everything is perfectly Clear in it. And when the money supply is going to grow to 1,000,000,000. 10k is hardly a drop in the ocean now is it.
