You need to provide updates or the coin will die quickly. It's best to have everything set up before the ANN. No whitepaper, bad pool, silent devs, and no links will drive people away.
I would try to mine it but can't because the pool keeps disconnecting. Would be nice to mine something and get a few blocks before the heavy hashers show up.
