Agreed. Massive potential here. So funny to listen to the FUD. As a developer I know once this is up and running it is going to be gold. Until then I will keep buying cheap LISK.
I expressed my launch frustration as well as my hope for the future. With that in mind, I think the word FUD and Troll needs to die a horrible death, just like l33t and lamer back in my old ass days. People have different opinions based on their experience, that's perfectly fine. When almost anyone would post that Day 1 would yield under $1, people start raising pitchforks screaming FUD. I said my peace, carry on.

Well, I certainly hope it is. I managed to set up a VPS straightforwardly with the instrux here, but the web wallet gave me an...unusual experience. First time I ever saw my balance flickering from my ICO amount to zero. Also, I couldn't load the blockchain page to see if I sent my LSK or not. Please keep in mind that I was using a web wallet that I installed myself on an Ubuntu VPS I had.
Even with that IP, the Web wallet was clunky - and I've been using Chrome. I had a bear of a time checking if one of my three sends to Poloniex was even put in a block or not. As I write, Polo doesn't know either: the other two sends are in the Pending part of the Deposit History page. For whatever reason, getting the Blocks page past page 1 & getting Chrome to show the txs in a pop-up window is an exercise in reloading.
To be quite frank, I can see a lot of folks depositing into Polo and using it as a webwallet. So any of you folks running for Delgate positions, I have this piece of advice: be nice to Poloniex.
Anyhoo, I'd better knock off & place a lowball bid.

How can you possibly say this "is a success"? It's been a disaster
This communitty is shit because it's so obsessed with price of lisk. And so that leads one to think this has been a success since lisk is on top 10 for market caps

Not even a day in and people are already losing faith in this thing! I'll admit that it's been a rough start, but really? Wait for the dust to settle before you make your mind up about it.
Its not dust, its a massive sandstorm. $6 million raised + you postpone launch for a smooth seamless launch and you cant even get the basics right. As a participant in the ICO price is secondary, not getting access to my coins while some do is unacceptable standard.
+1, that is the basics of why most are pissed off. Only a small % were able to play with there coins, and at this point in time, I still have all my ico coins (6hrs after launch) that are unable to move. Yeah, not too smooth...
If tomarrow brings bad news, i can only imagine. I would be especially pissed off if i found out max or oliver already sold some of there fund, when most can't even transfer there coins.
They seemed shady from the start, no doubt they did.

I would be more than happy to build Virtual Machine appliances and Raspberry Pi 2/3 images for anyone that was having trouble getting it up and running locally if there is a market for it

I'd buy any coins at 2 1/2 X ICO if people are frustrated and want out

Really I can't even put my Lisk in one wallet it keeps freezing and sending them back. That should be basic.and i have left lots for the fees.I hope it works tomorrow. I am sure this is going to go over well in. the crypto community.

optikalsaint Thanks your all your help buddy I got it finally. After 29 times of doing the same thing. I don't know if it was internet explorer doing it or what, but used firefox and it went right in.
Excellent! Glad to hear it all worked out. I would recommend not using Internet Explorer entirely and moving to Firefox and Chrome full time. Both browsers are faster and more secure.

This thread had been dominated by shills for the past 2 months. The lisk team couldn't even make it so that one could access their lisk at launch...and people are stil having issues 7 hours later. Lisk team is not run by anyone competent. That is clear.
That doesn't mean we won't see a pump from here back to .01 in a month or so.
But for now, yeah I lost some faith. Communitty just wanted to get rich (I don't blame them, I'm looking for a profit too) and lisk team couldnt handle a launch after delaying initially. Not much to have faith in.
