I know there is a guide to a quick DApp already, but someone should make a video in the Lisk Academy on how to do so (some people like videos more).

I see a lot of people talking about Waves when we should really be talking about Lisk here.
Even so, because it seems many are eager to sell their Lisk's to buy Waves, I felt like this info is relevant:

Im not saying Waves are good or bad, it is what it is and everyone is free to put their money where they want.
I wont be trading any Lisk's for Wave's, thats for sure.
That said, promoting Dapp development for Lisk is much more relevant in here.

Why can't Lisk and Waves both coexist like BTC and ETH? Regarding Waves ICO its on fire right now with almost 5000 BTC raised in 2 days. I invested in both and think there will be some people selling Lisk to invest in Waves. I know I will. Gotta diversify.

We don't know what the price is, was, will. We know only the price of LISK-IOU 'tokens'. Which could be very speculative cause only small exchanges (single sellers) have control over all supply and can easily push price higher if they don't play ethically. This is the price we know.
Consider crowd behavior. At $1 - about 15 times profit, do you think crowd would not sell? Not everyone has so huge believe into the project, not everyone wants to hold longer than week/month/not saying year. Most of people here are only for fast profit. We all know that.
