What type of update frequency will you commit to if you are voted in as a delegate? It was annoying having to hunt down delegates for updates.
Delegates should post und update here:
http://forum.lisk.io/viewforum.php?f=6&sid=c3ee0de1ca9588b77c51c14822e4c3a9

Yea true already did Wink.

Delegate Question

When BitShares was running DPOS 1.0, there was some frustration about Delegates not updating what they were doing to help improve the ecosystem.  Here's my question to people that want to be delegates here:

What type of update frequency will you commit to if you are voted in as a delegate? It was annoying having to hunt down delegates for updates.

Nice one aswell you got some of my votes, im going to make the website great, faucet, netwerk info, cool articles, tradeviews, and some intervieuws when possible

I will be posting regular development updates on the dapps funded by the delegates I am running at least once a month or when major releases or other news occur here on BTT in a dedicated thread and on the Lisk Forum.

I'd recommend the VPS.  I have 100/20 mbps connection, but I don't consider it good enough for this.  It is a business thing, and even good home service is not good enough.  Just my opinion
Any good assumption about what CPU power and RAM amount we need for that?

Pretty much any CPU on a cloud VPS will be powerful enough.  My Crypti node worked fine with 768 MB of RAM and 15GB of SSD storage.

Good luck, bysup!

Hi guys, congratulations for being part of Lisk.

I bought my ones on day 1.

I follow this talk since day one but this is my first comment in here.

I will write in the Topic of delegates.

Because we need delegates, I will give my vote to the one who share profits with his voters (us) so in that case we also we can give away some to others to integrate them in the community,  also I will give my vote to someone who works for the good name of Lisk and his community (us and future members)

a delegate has to be someone who is not just getting rich by himself, a delegate "I suggest" should be someone with projects in mind to spread Lisk, I will suggest that delegates should consider to donate dapps to the community, for schools, hospitals, we should create dapps to fight world poverty, also providing faucets etc....

opportunities are endless, you guys (community) are some of the most clever people in the world so ideas are unlimited, so delegates I want to encourage you to work along with Max and Oliver and the Lisk community to bring this project to a whole new level, if we work and push this together Lisk, like in the ICO, Lisk will go far an above our imagination and our expectations.

so if you want my vote I'm happy to support you, if you commit yourself for the community, well you have my vote, if any of you are in Melbourne Australia well lets do it. may be we can do this as a team.

have a good day guys!!!!1

There should be only delegates, which are making dapps or running successfull marketing operations.

Blablabla my mommy didn't love me enough

good luck!

Well I have to totally agree with your First point.
"There should be only delegates, which are making dapps or running successfull marketing operations. "

Also I don't really understand why one person could have 3 delegate accounts or nodes I know such a thing might not be that easy to enforce but Id like lisk devs to try.

Who will I Not be voting for.
1.
Anyone trying to get more then 1 node I think the influence of every delegate should be limited to one node you could be hit by a bus robbed/hacked whatever.
2.
If you made your BCT account This year. "ive been in crypto since 2013 blabla but only just made my BCT account" you can go F**k yourself ive heard it all before scammer."
3.
Anyone that does not clearly show their value add to the lisk project. sharing the profits with your voters does not qualify you as a good candidate Infact it might take away some of the motivation to work hard for Lisk because your getting less out of it.

Who will get My vote.
1.
People that can prove their value add to Lisk.(past projects future plans skills whatever)  and the banana guy he's funny and active.

BTER's ann Regarding the XCR withdrawal and the LISK ICO
https://bter.com/article/6528

Regarding the XCR withdrawal and the LISK ICO, there's too much misunderstanding and misleading information . Here' the explantion from BTER's admin Lin:

People were asking BTER urgently for XCR withdrawals to participate the ICO before it's ending.
However, the XCR wallet stopped syncing. I contacted the XCR project manager Stas for help but got no response for many days.
Here's the snapshot of my skype conversation with Stas:

  https://bter.com/attached/image/20160324/20160324041145_53239.png

We tried all our best before the ICO to get the wallet synced but failed.
That's why I spent hours on the LISK chat room asking for someone who have a fresh blockchain urgently but unfortunately there's none.
In like 1 hour before the ICO end, the crypti wallet blockchain still stopped at ~90%, I knew there's no way to make it fully synced for the withdrawals.
I even asked Max if there's any way to process the withdrawals without the blockchain fully synced (like bitcoin), but he said no.
I also asked  if there's an online wallet so that we can process the withdrawals manually but none.
Right before the ICO ending, our users were requesting the withdrawals desperately. I figured out one way and I told people in the LISK chat room that I figured out one way.
I calculated the amount of XCR in the withdrawal requests and redeemed in one time in the LISK ICO and posted on BTT to let people contact us so that we could record their info for LISK redeem manually.
BTER's users are all very happy with this solution when we contacted with them.

Note1: I used the LISK ICO system for XCR redeeming. It's not from BTER's crypti wallet which was not synced at that time.

we have been working together from the beginning of Crypti and put a lot effort on maintaining the XCR wallet and support XCR as an exchange. I am so disappointed that some people thought it in a wrong way. One way I can proof that I didn't steal any of the funds. We have got the XCR wallet synced well and people can all withdraw their funds to their own wallet or other exchanges whenever they want.

 Lin@BTER

Waited until a little before ico ended to do something. We don't trust bter.

XCR withdrawals were working fine until the hot wallet went empty. Repeated requests were made by multiple community members to Bter support to refill the hot wallet, which only received an automated form response with no further action taken by Bter.

Lin - you never answered my question the other night on Lisk chat, so please answer it now: Why wasn't the hot wallet ever refilled? You had 3 1/2 weeks to do it. It would take all of 5 minutes at the most to log into the online wallet and make the transfer. Also, no attempt at contact with Crypti team members was made until Sunday night when ICO was ending.

 Lin@BTER

It's been almost a year since you paid back the BTC that was 'stolen' while paying back less than a total of 10% with no clear communication. Your support refuses to answer questions about why some coins are still locked (like Play). So yes, I don't blame people for being a 'little' suspicious at any deals coming from BTER. Just my own opinion.

can we trust the community manager, he is a new guy? not that i'm trusting anyone here, but seeing new people added from nothing is suspicious

I kinda thought he was already part of the team before they announced it. He was always answering questions and helping on lisk chat since the beginning. That could be why they hired him.

Desperately? LOL. They had like 4 weeks to participate in the ICO. 4 WEEKS. They could have used BTC instead.
That's ridiculous.
