PredX - AI-Powered Prediction Market
Is there rely hope holding this coin, Lisk to me seems to be lagging behind and most of these new projects have crowded the market and steal the marketshare from it, if things continue this way, I will need to call it a day with this project and dump my tokens, nothing so far so cheer about this project

Is it better to trade these coins on binance or leave it in a wallet and use DPOS? The rewards seems to be really low now and it's not worth keeping them there. Probably better off switching to litecoin and then back to lisk when the sdk gets closer

Clueless!
The China ranking puts bitcoin at 12 and litecoin at 33. Also it ranks EOS and Tron above ethereum which no-one in their right mind would agree with. Most would prefer LISK at number 6 on coinmarketcap rather than the China rankings

China ratings reflect the Chinese Gov't view on what is 'acceptable' crypto's. IMHO. IT means very little in real-world terms.

It is simply a misdirection tool to fund crypto into less likely threats than BTC and LTC IMHO. Sorry to say, I have LISK from the ICO.

For what it's worth....

Lisk jumps up six places in the Chinese Crypto Rankings!
China’s Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID) has released its latest rankings of 35 crypto projects that were evaluated over the past two months. The results showed the Lisk project at 6th position, up six places from the previously released report which back then showed Lisk sitting at number 12. This 6th position shows Lisk sitting higher than Cardano, Stratis, Qtum, Ark, and other well known cryptocurrencies.

Of special note is that Lisk was ranked highly for creativity according to the table released by the rating group which comprises the CCID Blockchain Research Institute, the CCID think-tank, and the China Software Testing Center under the China Electronics and Information Industry Development Research Institute. The creativity sub-index that Lisk did well in “focuses on continuous innovation in the public chain, including developer size, code updates, and code impact,”

The CCID began ranking 28 crypto projects in May of 2018. In the following months it added more projects including EOS, Nebulas, Gxchain, and the like, making a total of 35 crypto projects on the list at this time. The center announced that starting this month the crypto rankings will be adjusted every two months instead of monthly.

See the rankings results and Lisk's standing within them https://news.bitcoin.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/ccid-11.png.

It's a great achievement to have a product on mainnet for 3 years, but also a bit embarrassing if after 3 years you still can't do anything with it. Think it's getting critical that the SDK and sidechain projects gets done before this bitcoin halving bull run really kicks things off

It was not only LSK but also other big tokens were announced to be withdrawn from trading for US citizens on Poloniex. First of all Ploniex is not that big anymore which to have any effect on its market. Second it is bad for US economy to not get benefited from these fastest growing assets because of unnecessary delay in decisions of their regulators. They are already left behind and still making damage to themselves.

LSK will only be unavailable for U.S. citizens on Poloniex. Those people will still be able to use other exchanges or in the future decentralized exchanges. Beside that, the legal team of Lisk is figuring out how to handle this situation and hopefully solve it to get Lisk seen as a non-security token.

Clueless!
I have just seen this news:

Poloniex has announced that U.S. customers will no longer be able to buy or sell nine cryptocurrencies on the exchange, due to uncertainty about whether the tokens in question will be viewed as securities by American regulators. The nine coin markets disabled for U.S. customers include ARDR, BCN, DCR, GAME, GAS, LSK, NXT, OMNI, and REP.

I wonder why Lisk would be seen as a security?  Huh

probably because of the 'forging' of lisk on top of a current wallet you hodl and the forging partner's thing. Ie..is lisk forging income? or is like splitting stock and thus not income until you pull it...

that kinda thing is probably driving them crazy in that the 2014 IRS Guidelines..(note guidelines..not even a rule) IS the ONLY say on this matter...so they dumped it off the exchange

so it likely will stick, because who the hell knows?

Anyway, my guess.

overall Lisk volume there at this moment 7.3 BTC... pretty meaningless, like Poloniex on the whole meanwhile, too. ^^

How can LISK be considered a security when the price is stagnant at best and rarely rises. If this is a security token then it should be at least $10 but it is a long way off. I get their point though, LISK still has no real use and that is what happens to coins that offer nothing more than a store of value after 3 years of development

I think there might be a time for Lisk to return to that price. But what is happening now is unavoidable, inevitably we have to keep following the same direction and that will change at the end of the year for sure.
