One question, when we receive some of the bounties for following pages, how would we be contacted about it?

Sounds like it means he got the Big Crypto Ding Dong a few too many times in his Woo Hah and now they are all scams.

He's a skeptic, and he's allowed to be one. To be honest it is better to be cautious than to be investing blindly.

I would suggest everyone to read the documentation that Lisk has provided. If you cant understand techno-babble, get on the chat, don't be afraid to ask. As I see the community is rapidly growing, and most of us are willing to help.

[...] Crypti was a success [...]

You mean the ICO of Crypti? Because Crypti is dead after Lisk launch. That can't be called as a "success".

Crypti is continuing on as Lisk. The original Crypti will be maintained for at least 6 months if anyone is interested in continuing with it. XCR was trading in the 1200-1300 range with 4-10 BTC daily volume up to right before the announcement of the Lisk ICO. There was a gradually increasing traffic of new members joining the community and setting up delegates. An even greater flood of interest and membership has come in to Lisk since the announcement. The price of XCR has been trading with 10-20 BTC daily volume near, even, occasionally above the BTC price equivalent with 1st week bonuses for the last week proceeding the ICO, confirming the interest in moving forward with this project.

Like Ethereum, Crypti was severely hit by the BTC price decline in USD over most of the duration of the project, starting with an initial 20% crash while the funds were still in escrow. This made the development environment much more difficult, and I commend all of the team members who stuck with it to release the core platform upon which Lisk will build upon and improve, and those who will move the project on to fulfill not just its original goals, but much more.

I don't see why people seem to be expecting a spectacular performance from the same people doing the same trick again with a new name.

How is Lisk starting with a solid 0.5.5 code base and considerable social infrastructure vs Crypti being faced with writing from scratch a 0.0.1 code base and only a team of a few guys "doing the same trick again"?

Sounds like it means he got the Big Crypto Ding Dong a few too many times in his Woo Hah and now they are all scams.

Why are people dumping so much BTC into this ICO?

The previous project of the LISK developers, crypti, is not massively successful.  History of low trading volume and sub-1000 btc market cap.

What makes you think they will be massively successful with their new LISK project?

Crypti has wandered in the wilderness for almost two years trying to perfect something different and special in the cryptocoin world.  We won't even go into their code failures, which were legitimate attempts to develop something new and worthwhile.  Give the Crypti team this, they never gave up.  Their latest direction - side chains / dapps written in JavaScript that can be run with microcomputer boards - is a brilliant idea that has successfully made it to "alpha" / "beta" status.   The 0.5.5 code base is ready to go.  However, time and attrition had sapped Crypti of funds, key personnel and a team agreement of what to do next.

Lisk is an attempt to take Crypti to the next level with a solid code base, the most enthusiastic members of the Crypti team, and a second round of funding for a start-up.

When you eject deadwood, keep the green shoots, mix in fresh blood and money on the right idea at the right time -  that's when you have a shot at going places.  And being massively successful.

That's what I believe about Lisk.

Crypti raised 8500 BTC and issued 100,000,000 XCR in return, back in July 2014

Now Crypti market cap is down to 1000 BTC, initial investors lost 88% of their BTC.

I think it's crazy to expect anything different from the same people doing the same thing again under a new name.

Crypti raised 750 BTC and has a current market cap of 1153 BTC. Smiley

The future of Crypti remains to be seen.  It has significant differences from Lisk and so retains its own unique value and unique direction if Boris wants to continue it.  Max and Olivier provide a path forward to those in Crypti who want to follow them into Lisk.   Both Crypti and Lisk benefit from separating its core devs into two groups with compatible visions.  Count me in with Lisk.

IF it's not bs i guess there's potential here.

but yeah wow, that much btc that early smells fishy as fuck.  not sure why ppl are so horny over new ico that are unproven with not fully vetted devs?  yet solid/stable/safe and legit coins with solid devs get ignored, dafuq?!  also where did all these bct forum users show up from and become/form a "community" so quick for a coin that's been so quiet!?  Roll Eyes signatures and all wth?

it's as usual gonna be a show of dumpage from the start, or maybe after the initial pump...watch.

I call troll bullshit.  Crypti raised 750 BTC over 5 days.

Crypti as a whole is valued in this ICO at a fixed fair market price of 1300 BTC.  That's a 73% return on investment for Crypti genesis block holders.  Crypti was a success and Lisk will be even more of a success.
