Can I send Crypti from the web wallet? I don't know how this works but I can't see anywhere to get my private key on the Crypti web wallet.

Was wondering the same thing, i'm guessing i need a designated XCR wallet due to the need of "return address"...

Is that correct?

Well, some people seem to be sending straight from Polo but I think your own wallet is safer - I can confirm it is fine to use the web wallet, you actually log in with your seed phrase from the crowdsale site.

edit: just to be 100% accurate I should say you don't actually log in to the web wallet, but it amounts to the same thing as it signs the transaction from your browser and then broadcasts it for you.

Not so sure i follow dude, lets say I have no web wallet. than opened one at Crypti's site and sent my XCR to its address, than is should enter my secret phrase to the web wallet directly into Lisk ICO page??

Thanks

When you have entered the return address and then clicked to make the exchange then yes, you enter the secret phrase from the Crypti web wallet and the amount you want to send from it - its used in your own browser so you aren't giving your secret phrase to anybody else if that worries you.

I'm having a problem with my Poloniex Exchange Crypti deposit return address showing as invalid for the ICO deposit, and not being able to proceed. When I first paste in my deposit address, it appears to be working fine, but after I click "start exchange" and "agree" on the purchase agreement, then I receive the error message "return address is not a valid Crypti address". I'm copying and pasting right from Poloniex, and ensuring there are no spaces. I noticed there is something odd about the way the deposit address text displays on the error page (which is unlike how it displays on the first page). Please see screenshots below.  I've tried with both Chrome and Firefox. Any help is appreciated Cry

Should work now. It's because a new account doesn't have a public key. I sent you 1 XCR. Try it please. Wink

Is it possible that Ethereum is only accepted over shapeshift?

Yes. You can initiative multiple exchange processes to participate with a higher amount of ETH. The ShapeShift API saved us a lot of hassle. Smiley

I had the same issue with the Polo address, I sent you a PM.. Exchange for BTC already made just need XCR.

THanks

Hi I was wondering how this works "Special reward for day 1 participants"
I bought on day one, is this done automatically.

I was wondering when the end of the "Special reward for day 1 participants" ends. Is it twenty four hours after the real starting time of the ICO, or 24 hours after the original planned time to start the ICO?

It is stated earlier that it is going to be 24 hours after the real launch:

*snip*

The 1st day reward will be extended for the time of the delay. Therefore you will have more than enough time to exchange your crypto-currencies during the first 24h. The whole ICO won't be extended, because with 4 weeks there is more than enough time to participate. We will explain it in detail later.

I have started plugging real data into my ICO progress charts.  The donation numbers come from https://ico.lisk.io/ .

Bookmark these pages - I intend to update these charts at least every 12 hours, hopefully around noon and midnight UTC, for the duration of the ICO.

During the first day or two of the ICO I will be updating them hourly or so.

Bitcoin is really the slowest cow I've ever dealt with. One hour for synch'ing the last five days. It's so 2009... Wink

F U Bitcoin and your slow ass clownchain.  Angry

Bitcoin is dying.  I really meant it when I said back on page 42 that they were in an miner exponential death spiral.

I understand u guys want to leave things straight with the crypti guys, but raising funds in currencies you have no faith in is just unreasonable...please explain why you insist on doing so

To allow the original Crypti investors a pivot / transfer path into a new coin (Lisk) that uses the code base they paid to develop.  In my opinion, this option shows Max and Olivier have true integrity.  They didn't have to do this in a perfectly legit open source fork.

Yes i guess this is a nice gesture that shows some character but to be honest, this is business and every XMR [sic - you mean XCR] accepted is less funds for future development......keep in mind that after reading all the previous posts here the lack of funds is probably what caused this fork in first place...

I totally disagree with this statement.  Are the total Bitcoin and Shapeshift donations to Lisk going to be different if there are 0 Crypti XCR donated than if there are 50M or 100M Crypti XCR donated?  I don't think so.  Why do you think so?

What accepting XCR / Crypti DOES do is reduce the absolute number of Lisk that are handed out to Bitcoin and Shapeshift donors at the end of the ICO.  But as I have said over and over here, as more people and more money of any type gets poured in Lisk, the price of Lisk rises to offset any dilution of holdings.  A donation made in any currency at any time retains its original value at all times during the ICO.

You do not lose money in the Lisk ICO when more people show up with more money after you!  More money getting poured in makes Lisk more valuable no matter what currency it is!  More people showing up make for a bigger and ultimately more successful Lisk community!

I have to say i don't agree with you dude, the XMR status here is different than any other coin as it has a fixed rate and destined to be replaced by Lisk, the XMR coins raised the less money for the dev's funding while by calculating the ICO pro-rata shares you will not see this. off course every coin is welcome you don't need to explain why, but we shall all prefer BTC than XMR....

Also, none of you guys see the crucial need for reverse vesting of the funds? we should establish some KPI's where the money will be released, otherwise we have no guarantee for the dev's continuity work.....

Depositing the 1 XCR to the poloniex exchange address, make the address appear valid on the ICO page. Thanks!

Yep! If someone has a problem with this. Simply send me your XCR refund address via PM or on Lisk.Chat. I will send you 1 XCR as fast as I can. Please note that I'm not always online, therefore it may take a few hours. Smiley
