There are 80+ delegates who put in 11 months of work before forging 1 lisk... MrV is one of those individuals, and imho his contributions are superior to most. Failovers, explorers, scripts....  He's "The Man".

This is a typical example.

These people crawl into the ass of others, these people protect themselves.
Because they have no choice to express their free opinion.
Free opinion means unvoting from the others, like Carolinadelegate. She is the only one who published her critical opinion. All others are cowards and asslickers.

Only 10 to 15 of these 80 people are valuable to Lisk due to their involvement.

The rest did not do anything. But they have voting weight and that is the top priority of the GDT.
The GDT is dependent on these rich parasites.

Think or swim.
@carolinaliskdelegate
Any comments or suggestions on my transparency? (I know the Expenses tab needs updating.  I now have a second dedicated server Smiley and got rid of a VPS that it replaced).  I do have a project I'm brainstorming to use some of the dapps funds on since those are still a ways out.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ej8507Mq15DI53fSytZ5vWoJPO5q04OIcQlfMTTOyMk/edit#gid=0

Here's what is in my proposal (you're welcome to double check.  To be honest, they may be off by up to 5%, but they should be very close to what I promised):
50% - For Dapp developers, bounties, and any marketing ideas. I already have ideas for Dapp developers by holding contests for Dapps, as well as funding promising Dapps (with payment plan or escrow to help fight scams). I also have planned out a bounty for developers helping close GitHub issues and reporting bugs (with demonstration on the testnet).
10% - Divided between all voters not in the top 101 (to help with distribution and share, thinking between weekly/monthly distributions [if above a minimal amount]): https://lisktools.io/profitShares.php Account address: 4880337952579156737L
40% - To delegate (to help cover server costs [including lisktools.io] & my time), long-term investment, and discretionary fund for other Lisk projects & related expenses Account address: 7436885772574645499L

Exactly...voting for supporting delegates gives added value to Lisk holdings...
Voting for only pools simply invokes selling, driving the price into the dirt.
People without significant Lisk holdings don't give a shit, they just want free money for doing nothing, and scream over and over to "vote for only pools" ... makes me laugh.  Cheesy ... As if the community would let in all pools.
Fact: Without the bagholders voting in the pools, there would be no pools in the 101, period.
This is DPoS peeps; your 300 lisk isn't enough stake to make it happen, so buy more...  Tongue

There are 80+ delegates who put in 11 months of work before forging 1 lisk... MrV is one of those individuals, and imho his contributions are superior to most. Failovers, explorers, scripts....  He's "The Man".

There are several other deserving delegates as well, but I'm simply taking a moment to reality-check this thread.
You want votes?
Contribute something to the project... scripts, websites, campaigns, weight.... Do something!
Lisk isn't Obamacare...
and we're NOT going to vote for alot of pools... you might as well get that out of your mind... a few is fine, but like Max said... too many would be detrimental to Lisk.

Sidechain Devs are the most important right now if you want Lisk value to increase

To make this short. Please anyone who believe these words, please go and read the chat log posts from carolina about our conversations and build your own picture. Yes at one particular time I lost my manners and say some bad things .. more than just the a-word , but please read the logs and you will understand.

Thanks
Regards

What to say about this reptile. He is doing nothing for Lisk, says to donate 5% on his delegate proposal, but even that is not happening. Also claiming that “20% to cover the expense of the servers I’m using”. Really, can you back that up??

But he is not alone, most from GDT don’t post transparency reports, and many don’t donate what they pledged to do.

its an absolute mess. a lot of delegates are doing nothing and the sad part is, the community can do nothing about it.

So your other group doesn't make the rich richer?  You ARE the Rich mother fucker with 400k Lisk!  25% of the GDT were allowed into the group with ZERO Lisk because they supported LISK with their time and effort.

I only ever had what I declared to GDT on their google sheet, you are blatantly lying...

(ps: As an ironic sidenote, I voted for carolina to stay, even advocated for it. Its there in the chat log.)

Where is that in the logs? I went through them and found nothing...

Maybe for finding something to start with, can you give some explanatory description on GDT? Who is making the list of members now and in the past? I believe GDT should provide to all of the Lisk community some statement of purpose and explanation of their operations.

In response to various members of GDT praising each other and spreading falsehoods under the cover of undisclosed interests, let’s focus on some very crucial issues:

GDT enforces a policy of accumulating forging rewards from their members. They advertise this as being advantageous for Lisk because less selling pressure arises. However, amassing the block rewards within a group of 80+ mutual voters for keeping a voting reserve will derail the consensus mechanism over time that is underlying dPoS. There is various evidence in the posted logs that GDT is ultimately trying to monopolize the forging rewards for obtaining an insuperable voting power, and even for controlling who will get a forging slot beyond their 80+ members.

Delegating the proof of stake within the original concept of dPoS was given the significance that delegates actually represent the majority of stake holders, while GDT is attempting to dead-lock consensus by means of an effective majority vote for themselves through accumulated forging rewards, by which meaningful delegation comes to an end. The original concept of dPoS had no significant amount for block rewards that could have an impact on votes for delegates. With Lisk it was envisaged that block rewards are spent, and it was not foreseen that they get accumulated by a large group of mutual voters.

There is also an issue with the governance that is underlying GDT. Having a list of delegates that must be voted (for which GDT is practicing enforcement) is a form of centralization. Distribution and decentralization are not the same, there is an excellent article about this https://medium.com/@VitalikButerin/the-meaning-of-decentralization-a0c92b76a274 .

Just found the easy way to look for delegates to vote for is to just look at the delegate monitor page, like https://explorer.lisk.4miners.net/delegateMonitor
and check their proposals at the forum.lisk.io .

Lisk the future is bright!
isnt there a search tool to find a deligate so we can vote on ip or name.. that should help me to find the deligates faster..
This function will include in web cilent in next release 0.6.0. Now easiest way is go to explorer.lisk.io and type delegate name in search box who you want. Now you know his rank. This rank is same as shown in your web wallet's delegate list. Go to this rank, select, vote. Done.

the more i vote the less my voting weight counts? or it doesnt matter how much i vote? upp to 101

i have voted for the delegates that pays out. need forging to be on? to get lisk from the pools? or i just need to wait 1 month now to see what i will get from it?

All delegates will fully get your vote weight. No need to forging on. Just wait for minimum payout.

oke that was pretty helpfull. thx again.

Here you can find all information - https://forum.lisk.io/viewforum.php?f=6&sid=99d716ab3cea42e43438dcf8e548b6d2
Also here is something https://telegram.me/LiskDelegates

I have one advice to you: before asking something at first try to find this by yourself. It's very good habit to make something by your own brain.

I hope Lisk can be added to bitfinex or btc-e.com maybe it would push volumes to be great as well, so what would make them want to add Lisk like we need something new for Lisk project in the future, at least maybe with a lot of added another trading site again to increase the high purchasing power of the new society
