luckly lisk is tradable on multiple exchanges, so best to have the bulk of your lisk in your own wallet and earn interest voting with it and then just move a small into exchagne to trade and if Binance Ops Team are idiots, you can leave that little funds there and move a little more from your own wallet to Bittrex, or whatever.

Why be so cheap
Or by half or just spent a bit more if you know it will go to min 20$
1$ will not happen for 29. Low 3$ range at top

Good evening, I would like to know what is the minimum currency "LISK" to start receiving the rewards of the POS system, and what is the percentage (%) of annual average profit?

I think it is 0.009% or almost 1%. May be lower or higher, better minds then me would know.

at least that is what I'm going with for calcs.

Good morning, and with that percentage of income does it pay to invest? after all the profits would take a lot ... because this rate you are referring to would be for 1 month of operation of the POS system?

Highlights and interesting items from the past week on the Lisk subreddit and beyond.....

Hello everybody. The Lisk project and it's enthusiasts are always busy, and this week past has certainly been no exception.
Seeing is believing, so here is a recap of the highlights and interesting items from the past week on the Lisk subreddit and beyond.....

Lisk sidechain project covered by wallstreet-online!

Wallstreet-online.de which classes itself "Germany's leading financial community" wrote an in-depth article on future Lisk sidechain, MADANA.  Some of the topics covered in the extensive piece include, the enormous potential for the future of Data analysis under the protection of privacy, how MADANA has already filed a patent, and why MADANA is a pioneer for Blockchain startups under German law,  You can read the translated article here...... https://www.reddit.com/r/Lisk/comments/96718z/wallstreetonline_on_madana_a_major_sidechain/

Lisk videos around the world; Crypto Zombie!

United States crypto Youtuber "Crypto Zombie" released a new video titled "Are ICOs Dumping $ETH & Crashing The Markets? Hoskinson vs Vitalik | Facebook Rumors" and within it he features LISK. Speaking about the ICO of MADANA in a section of this particular video he explains LISK as a district within a country, sidechains as the streets within the district, and MADANA as a shop in one of these streets. I have taken the liberty of pinpointing the section of the video where he begins the LISK coverage here.......... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FJmoe8cBuE&t=610s

Lisk Commander will interact with the network, mainchain/sidechain and dapps!
Shusetsu Toda ( https://lisk.io/team/shusetsu-toda ), Fullstack Developer at Lightcurve which is working on the Lisk project, has released a new blog post on the release of Lisk Commander 1.0.0. here....... https://blog.lisk.io/lisk-commander-1-0-0-release-37e72b9c5dad . The following passage from Shusetsu's blog is really exciting...... "from Lisk Commander 2.0 onwards, we will integrate more features for developers and blockchain creators as a first entry point into the Lisk ecosystem. Together with Lisk Elements and the SDK, Lisk Commander will evolve to become a tool that can be used to create, maintain and interact with the network as well as the mainchain/sidechain and dapps. Developers and node maintainers will be able to create the template of the sidechain, start and manage the node as well as much more".

Lisk Core 1.0 has  smooth ride on the public Testnet so far!
As you probably all know the important step of migration from Lisk Core 1.0.0-rc.1 to 1.0.0-rc.2 on Testnet network has occurred. The migration went smoothly and successfully.  I tracked what some of the community members involved in the testnet have been saying, and while a lot of it is very technical and far beyond my understanding, I can report that that there have been no major hiccups so far. What follows are a selection of comments from two posters regarding this...... u/TheRealPhoenix1969 said, "haha exactly, I haven't even seen one node of mine hiccup yet; looks so solid.* He continued by urging on with, "testnet solid A* lets get that blockheight 🍒 ." Then jokingly he said, "I'm currently chanting in the mirror by candle-light". u/Lemiiii put a lot of minds at ease when he said, "I can confirm. Very smooth ride so far ✌️ ". It looks like HQ have a solid product on their hands. Smiley

Lisk Commander 1.0.0. launch covered in two new press pieces!

CryptoNinjas covered Lisk Commander 1.0.0. in the straightforwardly titled article, "Lisk releases version 1.0.0 of command line interface tool". That can be read here....... https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2018/08/13/lisk-releases-version-1-0-0-of-command-line-interface-tool/ . A regular documenter of Lisk's progress, ambcrypto.com, was the other publication giving coverage to the Lisk Commander 1.0.0. launch, again with the direct title of "Lisk [LSK] announces its command line interface tool release, Lisk Commander 1.0.0". Three redditors got shout outs in this piece while being quoted, namely u/Mmcryto2018 , u/Delegate_endro , and u/AtomTanNZ. You can check out that article here...... https://ambcrypto.com/lisk-lsk-announces-its-command-line-interface-tool-release-lisk-command-1-0-0/ .

Lisk videos around the world; NICKALEXG!
United states crypto Youtuber "NICKALEXG" released a new video titled "Lisk Price Prediction & Analysis".  The channel with 1,800 subs is run by NICKALEXG who describes himself as a "Serial Entrepreneur! Bitcoin Investor and Day Trader!".  Speaking about the Lisk project he says he is impressed with the Lisk Academy and the events and meetups around the community. He also reckons Lisk is not a get rich quick token. You can watch the entire video and his analysis here........ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCNLBU2McLQ .  Don't forget to give the Youtube channel of the original poster a thumbs up.

The Lisk Dev Team have hit another milestone;  merging more than 1,000 pull requests in the Lisk Core repository on Github. Lisk sidechain project to tour Singapore, Bangkok, and Saigon!
As we all know, MADANA is due to be one of the first major dApps to be built on a Lisk sidechain. In a series of upcoming events interested folk in South East Asia will get to talk personally to CEO Christian Junger and Members of the MADANA team about privacy-preserving tech and blockchain use-cases, all whilst enjoying some cold drinks. Maintenance of LSK wallet on Binance will take the rest of the year ?  Angry

Maybe they are all on vacation on this exchange...

Maybe they are preparing for core 1.0, they have to sync everything,

That is exactly what they are doing, tuvok007.  Smiley

So the wallet will be in maintenance for 2 weeks ? it's a joke  Grin

Not as big of a joke as if funds were lost in the tranfer to Core 1.0 , so this precaution is well worth it.

Also please note the following from Lisk HQ.........

" The actual migration will happen on Wednesday, August 29, no sooner than 11:00 AM CEST.
Please avoid making any transactions during the 24 hours prior to and after the migration. For exchanges, we also recommend not accepting withdrawals/deposits 24 hours prior to and after the migration as well. However, we cannot enforce this, as Lisk Network is fully decentralized and everyone in the community is free to post any transactions that they wish to at anytime."

Clueless!
Does 1.0 allow for SDK?
Lisk Core is the program that actualizes the Lisk Protocol. Each machine must set it up with a specific end goal to run a hub that considers interest in the system. Setting up Lisk Core empowers a client to contribute to the decentralization of the Lisk network.

Sorry, have not been keeping track of the stuff you said above. How does it work exactly? I thought to be a NODE you had to have so much LISK to do so to forge?

Indeed this announcement for Core 1.0 main net launch is big one in recent times. Though there are almost 2 weeks till getting that block height when the process will start but price has started to move already. If there is little bit stability in BTC's market we can expect healthy increase else it may be slower but is inevitable with this announcement.

This seems to have gone under the radar, the news is huge but i think liskers have been waiting for so long the feeling is more like "about blinking time!". If this was done during the last bull run then the price would have pumped to the moon, but we still have to wait a bit longer until the block is reached. Then we all might get a bit more excited.
