A gGmbH first and foremost is simply a non-profit company (focus on company, not foundation!). Reasons for being non-profit are often "to develop, fund, and implement solutions to social, cultural or environmental issues". However, there are also other examples of non-profit companies like various tech foundations show. Being a company puts it a little bit more into the commercial aspect while all profits go back into the company.

The reason for delay is that Germany knows relatively little about blockchain technology. We will post an update.

Bitcoin moving up, altcoins moving down to stay at the same USD value.

It happens all the time and people should not be surprised by it anymore.. LSK will grow again, it was just a bit overbought by impatient people.

Given that most alts are red across the board other than a few pumps of the day, the current downtrend isn't much of a surprise. This is not a day trader's coin right now - it's in its development period and will be for some time.

I personally invested into the ICO and have not sold any of my LSK since then.  This is not a coin that's going to skyrocket immediately.  Look at how long Etheruim took.  I remember so many people calling it a scam in the first couple of months after the continuous delays in getting it take off.  Things take time and its probably for the best.  Don't we want to have something developed correctly rather than rushed and full of bugs.  The guys behind this project are continuously making improvements and releasing updates.  Compared to many other coins out there, this is a solid coin which has huge potential.  We just have to give it time to mature and get its name out there.   If people are selling, its because of emotions or they're looking to invest in other coins.

Some cryptocurrency Lisk included are getting a bit affected by sudden bitcoin price rise.

I looked a bit into the gGmbH (gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung) you guys are trying to set up and have few concerns if it's the right choice for your company. This is not intended as fud and please correct me if I'm totally wrong:

A gemeinnützige Gmbh is roughly translated a "limited non-profit company" or "non-profit limited liability company" which intends to act in a social manner and which is not profit oriented. This would put "Lisk" in the category of Social Entrepreneurship with the intent to develop, fund and implement solutions to social, cultural or environmental issues. Now I guess your main goal by forming a gGmbH is to get tax advantages (which are very high in Germany). gGmbHs are mainly charitable organizations focusing on philanthropic goals or social well-being ( educational, religious, cultural, scientific).

So my main concern is: How does Lisk fit into this category? Lisk may be scientific and research oriented. But at the same time a lot of aspects are   for profit oriented (offering cryptocurrency, being listed on several exchanges etc). Are these aspects the reason for the delay?

I hope you could clear this up in your next blog post or meeting.

The ICO Fund is reserved for the next five years (development, marketing et cetera) and not for your ego aka profit.

Only incompetent Devs/CEOs of terrible projects buy their own coins to subsidize.

LSK price is at 33300 and about to crater into the earths core. They dont seem to even be responding to questions here now.

the only time that we will see LSK higher is when you have a POT type of pump else this coin is dead, and we need to start lawsuite against our good friend of LSK... he promise a lot, and nothing has been delivered...

It all hinges on getting the non-profit established. Why it's taking so long? Where are they in the process? Lisk should keep us informed on these matters.

Community should vote that LISK is using ICO money to SUPPORT the coin price.

In real world when a share goes down then CEO, CFO are buying back shares!!! LISK should do the same. This is not just a shitcoin of 10 BTC or so, but a real coin. he has some RESPONSIBILITIES!!!! and that means not spending money on hookers, plane tickets, drugs,...
