They "did it" with 700k daily volume on 1 exchange... If you can short it anywhere, do it next week or as soon as there are new exchanges added. This is going to plummet like a meteor sooner or later.

No worries, Lisk will get there as well, just more gradually. I give it 9 months until we pass the $100M marketcap mark.

>dat steemit

damnm why is not lisk doing the same  Huh Kiss

It's understandable that most of you just want to ride the pump and then sell for a profit. But what is essential here is the true growth of Lisk. But if you're here waiting for the pump, keep holding. It will come I assure you.

dat steemit though, 3rd place , puts every altcoin, ico, into shame, they did it
well what can you do, better luck next time

6-9 months for something that took steemit 1 day ? Huh
that's a lot don't you think ?

Zug in Switzerland is a low tax region. That's all.
But the costs of living there are quite high.

In addition, Max and Oliver both have families.
And for a young family Berlin is much better to life than in the Swiss Province.

By the way:  The new Company will be a gGmbH.
This means that taxes are also low, even in Germany.

Anything such as Steem that reaches out to the general public could potentially be a huge win. I asked NXT a similar question, couldnt something similar be done with Lisk with the use of some type of UIA?

yeah, they managed to reach the general public, it's amazing.
Wish I had heard about them before I poured my money into this.

Germany needs to catch up in case of cryptocurrencies.
Even though Berlin is a good choice for a startup like Lisk, I would have prefered to see them in Switzerland.
But Max is the CEO, he should know what he is doing.

Pythagoras and Plato are my brothers.
They should move to Switzerland, where the government doesn't tax or mess with you for being involved
with cryptocurrencies.

to Zug yes. like eth did. and shapeshift

what is so interesting there ?

low taxes. and you can pay fees @governmental offices with BTC. and one upon a time there where data protecting laws in Switzerland.

Even Japan is a favoring country for crypto-currencies.However, POLO is based in the US ,so its not that important i guess.

New topic.  Perhaps Lisk should piggyback on this effort and train 2 million Lisk blockchain developers who can put dapps on Android smartphones?

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-07-11/google-to-train-2-million-indian-developers-on-android-platform

Google should train monkeys instead -- much bigger chance for success.

That only works for writing the complete works of Shakespeare.

Cheesy I knew it! Probably that's the Darwin motive to write the "work of genius" Origin of Species.

Training two million is a bit extreme don't ya think lol it would be beneficial to get a bunch though wouldn't it. Has nobody here started to create daps yet?

No meaningful dapps have been created yet. Hopefully when the ICO funds are released they will have a competition for the best dapp as I remember they mentioned that.

Yes, I agree

The last community meeting was on June 11.
Do you remember?

Lisk opens up an office in Berlin

As an intermediate item between “Team Growth Progress” and “gGmbH Creation Progress” I would like to announce something life changing for Oliver and me!
We are moving to Berlin!

After working very efficient for the past 5 months on Lisk, we saw huge potential to get even more efficient by setting up an office. This way we really can work together, discuss new features more easily, and build a dedicated team of core developers around us.

This is a big change and we are quite anxious about it! I think it will be great. We reviewed several cities and Berlin was by far the best choice.

  • Awesome city with a HUGE, international startup community.
  • Good pool of employees.
  • Bitcoin meetups with 1500 members and 100 participants on one event.
  • NodeJS meetups with over 1000 members.
  • Good infrastructure to other cities.
  • Cheap (e.g in comparison to London).

I hope that you all see the benefits of moving into an office. We will still have remote workers, because it’s not necessary to have everyone under one roof. However, having Oliver and myself, plus a few core devs in one room. Well, this just means good things.

It’s not only a decision for the above reasons. It’s also a personal decision. Oliver and I both have families. Berlin offers so much more than just a good city for startups. It’s also a great city to live in.
