Any projects in the works which utilize Lisk?

Is there a Lisk Slack channel?

Hi! we created a multicurrency dice site: www.cryptosdice.com that acceps LISK!

We are looking for people that want to be part of the LISK bankroll! on july 11 we are going to activated those currencies with enough bankroll. We think this is a good opportunity for LISK community as it offers many advantatges:

1 - A way to spend LISK - dice games are a good step in any crptocurrency development.
2 - A way for investors to earn.
3 - LISK wins visibility, It will be displayed in our website next to btc or ltc. Also our site have faucet for any of the altcoins accepted.
4 - Affiliates earn coins in the original bet currency, so users that don't know about LISK may find they have some balance of this currency because their referrals's earnings and start to learn about LISK.

Happy betting and investing!

Why not concentrate on adding traffic in your website rather than keep on asking for investments. People got burnt investing in gambling sites cos the operators went missing when they got a decent amount of BTC

We hope that we will prove that people can trust us, but we need some bankroll to start with some altcoins. Of course you are free to invest or not, just posting here in case somebody is interested. I think that new altcoins need services and places where to spend them, otherwise are worthless.

Thanks for adding Lisk to your project. This is just the kind of thing needed to build real value.

Yeah dodgy gambling projects is just what's needed.

Please.

Come on Lisk, save some face and go up  Angry Cry Undecided

It sounds like you should not invest in crypto. The price is not going to rise because you want it too. In simple terms it will move when there is more BTC to buy and you know what? In the last few days buy support has doubled, it is not an awful lot but it is building so you will have a chance to get out soon enough over 50k. Save some face, seriously.

getting out at 50k still means I'll have to take a 50% loss though  Cry
you never take a loss if you dont sell.  if this was a crap coin with nothing behind it, no dev funds, etc.. I'd say sell and take your losses, but this coin can and will fly high, it's only a matter of time.

Again, Lisk literally does whatever Ethereum does. That's concerning because the imminent hard fork of Ethereum is going to make or break Ethereum. Looks like it'll make or break Lisk as well. A better job needs to be done to market how Lisk is different from Ethereum.
Got proof for that?

Well, I've lost track of how many times I've watched ETH go up on Polo, then Lisk follows, or ETH goes down, and Lisk follows. Could the argument be made that other coins behave this way too with ETH? Sure. But I don't know how many coins pros/cons, when launched, were compared so aggressively to ETH. There needs be a better job of differentiating the differences between Lisk and ETH, and marketing that. That's all I'm saying. I'm a Lisk ICO holder. Haven't sold any coins yet. I'm just saying that it'd be nice to think that if ETH crashes and burns that Lisk might have a shot at taking its place. Right now Lisk might go down with it.

We are hitting some low volume days on polo, polo have ETH/LSK pair. Connect those two facts

Max is just enjoying the crypto bubble after raking in easy ICO money, just like countless other projects in the last 6 months. There's hundreds of coin projects in the cryptosphere. Two/three might eventually make it big. Do you really think Lisk is one of them? No.

Enjoy a possible Lsk pump to 66k someday, but that's about it.
How have you came up with 66k number?Just curious.

Max has not touched a pennie of the ICO money or am I wrong?
You have the right to express your opinion that LISK won't be one of them but that is a little suspicious that you would go out of your way to say that on a thread you really would not bother looking at if you thought that. 66k has been pulled out of his....

No, you aren't wrong. The lisk team didn't touch or received the ICO bitcoin (as far I know).

I suggest Max should stop traveling and promoting Lisk. He should be writing blogposts all day long for you guys! To keep you happy! What the hell is he thinking!!??

Do you think promoting Lisk to a war torn country like Ukraine, where the average wage is like $100 ,
is a good choice?
 Huh

he's looking for affordable developers

you can get 'affordable' developers anywhere, one doesn't have to go all the way to Ukraine to do that
Max is a German he should get German engineers if he wants developers, top of the crop.

I wonder what the Lisk community thinks of Ethereum's plan on doing a hard fork to save the DAO funds. Should they do it or not? And if Lisk was in the same situation, what would be the best direction to take?

I don't think lisk will have the same problem, because now everyone learned from TheDao disaster and it will not make the same error. One of theDao errors was to not put a limit to the crowdsale, another one it was the rush.

How can you break something that is already broken?

Funny... one of the advantages of Lisk, using sidechains, is no fork in the mainchain in such scenarios, right?

Theoretically yes,the community are still waiting the first blockchain app working on lisk sidechain Smiley.

I agree.  Too much of the market doesn't know how to differentiate LISK from Ethereum.  Not that it is obviously two different entities but thow it works and how sidechain applications function differently to that of ETH.
There may be some similarities, but these are completely different codebases and its not a carbon copy of the other.
