I have successfully installed the wallet.  However, it ends up erroring out with the following error and stops.  This happens after about 30 sec.  Any ideas?  I am Running Win 10 1703.

Here is my CONF File and below is the error.

After BitcoinZ, we have LitecoinZ. How to check it's difficulty? May be I am waiting a little bit to get more details before starting my rigs up and mining the coin.

Funny how it says only 5000 Premine, 100% goes to miners.

BUT STILL 250,000 COINS ARE GOING TO THE DEVELOPER IN PREMINE! Twisting the words! Isnt that the whole point of you making the coin? lol funny. Still better than a 100% Premined ICO.

brooklynite1 It's not so funny! Please read the full story on the forum.

You are shitting on your coin.
Just restart it and make a fair start. Can't understand your problem. This coin will not go if you can't manage for a fair start.

Restarting mean killing the coin! We don't have problem with this little premine and we have already managed this issue on discord, but some people do not inform themself before talking/asking.

In these few days all people in this community has mined more or less the same amount of coins. (457750.38870301 coins mined since now)

FUDDers everwhere, but please keep going, moving forward, dev. Everything will be fine after we surpass the hash period of the project.

Yeah! If I'm not wrong he was from zerocoin ;P LOL

Just saying what you have to do to make this a trustworthy project.
Your story doens't make ANY sense.
I wanted to try to tell you the right thing to do, but it seems to be useless.
Good luck with LTZ.

I agree with this.

The premine issue is going to hang over this project forever. There will always be a risk that the developer will dump this premine and take off. Especially as he is anon.

It's a good scheme to say "no premine", claim someone else did the premine, stay anon until the coin is on an exchange and has some volume and then dump it all and disappear for a nice profit.

I'm not saying this will happen.

I'm just saying I'm not prepared to take the risk that this will happen. IMHO my risk assessment gives this more than 50% risk that it will actually happen.

I stopped mining this a few days ago.

Maybe it's because I'm new to crypto, but I failed to see why LTZ is better than ZEC?

Not necessarily better, but different. How is it different than ZCash?

Is it even competing with ZCash?

no one said LTZ is better than other coins. It's another coin. That's all

How is it different then? Why would people use it instead of ZCash?

Well, because many people might not like the dev reward that ZCASH simply pays to itself from the miners. If you don't want to support such a model, LTZ might be the right place for you as they don't rip you off by taking a piece from other peoples' cake.

Thanks. Now, that's an answer I was looking for.

You could have found that out yourself by just doing a little bit of research. If you are not willing to invest any time I am not sure crypto is the right place for you Wink
You are right, we need to have detailed information, plan about the project before deciding to invest our money into it. However, sometimes we should take risk in order to maximize profit.

Risk taking is fine. But you should be able to at least slightly quantify that risk. You don't get more from jumping down a bridge into a dry river with closed eyes if you were allowed to open your eyes beforehand and check whether the river was dry.
