The OP's ANN-Thread at Bitcointalk is not up to date, until a new ANN-Thread is created I suggest you to look at https://machinecoin.space/viewtopic.php?f=6&p=6. The OP won't be able to update the ANN-Thread here for a while (new job) but he'll try to finish a new coin logo with an Octopus design.

New ANN-Thread is online:

That is awesome! We have now a coin with core 13.1, new Algo, Webwallet and Android App for only 2500 $ Marketcap. I want to buy all Coins for 25 SAT.  Cheesy

You can soon add one more thing to the list which as far as I know does yet no exist in the ecosphere of any existing cryptocurrency.

Its always a pretty good idea to follow @Machinecoin where several posts/images may or may not contain secret hints to it.

What exactly is the total amount of MAC?

http://cryptoguru.tk/RichList/index.php?Currency=MAC says 17 mio coins
coinmarketcap.com says 10 mio coins...

Greetz
Steve

The ~ 10 000 000 MAC that is shown at coinmarketcap is not correct, they probably stopped to sync the data a while ago.

Actually we have a maximum of 17 750 000 coins after 360 000 blocks.

I'll ask them to update it.

Update: Request send.

You need a explorer with api support. That is the problem. Cryptoguru has not this support.

Hey yo machinists,

I wanna invite you to test the beta of MacPay, a online Machinecoin wallet. I'm going to publish it as open source  after the testing phase is finished.

Everyone can try it at http://macpay.nigho.xyz.
Please note that this website isn't mobile optimized, since I'm planning to release a MacPay app ASAP (after testing is finished).

If you find any issues or improvements, please tell me (:

Friendly Regards
- Niccoo

Wow, that is a great tool. Thank you
Best Regards Christian

(:

I'll release the MacPay android app in few days.

Friendly Regards
- Niccoo

Well done and works also nice on a 4k Smart-TV with Android-TV.
I could imagine that this could be used in a car computer ( (electric) car pays its electricity/gas bill at a gas/energy station which could save a lot of time.).

The OP says new POW algorithm, codename:"Time Travel", but it doesn't explain how it works. What makes it special, and how does it work?

I know there were numerous coins that made variations of the quark algo and gave each one a new name, but there were only small differences between them. Sometimes an algo has big differences to other coins like the Zcash algo. Does the Time Travel algo have big differences to other algos, and what are those differences?

That sounds similar to the X11 Evo algo from Revolver Coin. That also used x11 components with another sequence every time, the sequence being based on timestamp. How does the Time Travel algo calculate the next sequence to use, does it employ a different method to using a timestamp?

Try a X11 Evo miner, even modify its parameters, it won't work to mine TimeTravel blocks.

TimeTravel is a different algorithm, see

How many coins a day would I approx get with a 280x?

what is 280x? GPU mining is not possible now, or I just do not know
Only CPU mining is possible now
Oh, really? I haven't really read up on anything but that it's a lot of differend algos.

Then how much with a fx-6300? :x

about the algo - read it here:

I am not sure, but how I understood this new algo, its not possible to mine with an actual software on market. With every found block, the algo changes! This is his development "Time Travel".

Miners actually travel through 40320 different combinations of hashing algorithms which easily can be extended to nearly 1000 times that much. In combination with further optimizations miners then nearly won't recognize any difference by the increasing.

Yeah, is there a way to have the wallet continuously mining?

See https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16241355 for an example and where to find the help for the parameters in detail.

How do I input it in minerd or is it even supported by minerd?

Minerd does not know the new algorithm.

Yes, I follow the link, must be without the /release
Ok, next question - master or branc 0.13 is the stable release? In the branch is 0.13 no .1.1 subversion?

Take this link https://github.com/machinecoin-project/machinecoin-core/archive/v0.13.1.1.tar.gz there you can be sure you run the same version as the binaries.

I am agree with you! The algo is perfect I can not see any reason to sell cheap coins.

Time Travel works with a X11 template. Currently use he 8 Algos form 11. The algo works to every time with a another sequence. He is dynamic. I want to use that for others projects. I think it is a great work.

That sounds similar to the X11 Evo algo from Revolver Coin. That also used x11 components with another sequence every time, the sequence being based on timestamp. How does the Time Travel algo calculate the next sequence to use, does it employ a different method to using a timestamp?

So how does the algo work?

Hashing algo mixes x11 components (like blake, groestl etc) based on timestamp thus making it harder to implement asic.

I have just read the code from revolvercoin. I think that use only one algo..time travel use all Algos ( eight ).
