You people always say like BTX is only one what is falling  Cheesy.
If you look coinmarketcap then I havn't seen any big change for months on BTX.
Hope that BTC will rise again and all altcoins with it (BTX more than others ofcourse  Wink).

Like I’ve been saying for weeks, $1 breach then another free-fall.

Why don’t you peoplez listen to me?   Roll Eyes

after airdrop dump i thought 5$ is the bottom price.but 5$ it breaks after that i thought 3$ is bottom.after that i thought 2$ must be it and 1$ too.
but it seems BTX dosent have any bottom price and will go to zero. Undecided

BTX now valued at $1.05 on CMC

If it breaches $1 then it’s free-fall time again.

Still can't withdraw my coins from Bit-z. One month already, this sucks on many levels.

Sorry to read about your issues, what is happening to you is very bad. What is going on? Why are you unable to withdraw?

No, BTX withdrawal is suspended there. Not to mention, bit-z has the most volume of Bitcore, how sick is this - the biggest market doesn't allow withdraw, to withdraw your money you need to dump btx, withdraw btc and try on some other exchange!

Other users are saying the volumes are false and it is not the biggest BTX volume trader. They are saying you should get your funds out as soon as possible. The fact withdrawal is suspended means it is a bad sign.

Today they turned on withdrawal and I received my coins, now I feel much better when I see my BTX Smiley .

Looks like Bit-Z had quite some problems with their wallet maintenance and I suspect that it took them some time to implement the new public key format. What sucked was that their support was not helpful and their communication was disastrous.

The response from their support always was "Hello, I am very sorry, the BTX wallet has not been maintained and will not be released until the announcement is completed." But there was never a reference given to where such an announcement would be published.

But now the BTX wallet is operating normally again and I moved my coins to my cold wallet yesterday. In the past, I had many flawless executions on Bit-Z. However, this communication mess left a bad aftertaste for me and I will probably not use them again.

What exchanges to you guys trust for BTX trading?

I also assume that the Bit-Z exchange has a false trading volume. They simply include the bot and move the coins back and forth.

Thank you HardFireMiner for information about Bit-Z withdrawing!
After maybe a week of waiting I've successfully withdrawn some BTX's bought long time ago.

Yes, all these exchanges (where BTX traded today) is just one big pain.
One by one they bring us problems from airdrop's time till now.

And for the future of BTX good, reliable exchange is very important.
Maybe exchange inside wallet will be a good idea for next dev's work?

When somebody here mentioned trade bots and fake volumes on Bit-Z, they stopped! Does this mean they read this or pure coincidence?

Now Bit-Z market on BTX/BTC is on 8 place by volume which is more accurate.
But still, despite this, I do not see the point of sending my coins to this exchange. Since the problems with the output still remain. I do not trust them.

bitz was crap since the beginning, there were many ppl talking about bots and their crappy system of KYC
even tokens are now thinking twice before trying to list there, BTX should pull out of there too

i myself really prefer to trade on etherdelta instead of bitz, even though i have many coins there which got as airdrops longs before

a few weeks ago I read about the GIO coin, which was originally (or maybe it still is) meant to power a kind of digital assistant.  the idea was that they would build a platform and then they and others could build mobile applications on top of that platform. they tried to get listed on exchanges and had one frustration after another. they then decided "to hell with it" and built their own exchange, so that at least the people who had bought the GIO coin could trade amongst themselves. dan_penta is this similar to the idea you were bringing up?  by the time GIO got listed on coinmarketcap about a month ago, they submitted their 'announcement link' to CMC as the one they made for their exchange website, rather than their original announcement forum.  they based their exchange off of an open source one on GitHub.

here's a reference to a post on their original ANN thread where one of their developers notes their decision to roll their own exchange : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2064833.580 .  you can go to their coinmarketcap page to see the announcement for their exchange, where they list rules for applying.

i'm not sure if this change of tactic is wise on their part, but at least it's an idea, and i commend that team for not allowing their problems with exchanges to lead them to give up. this assumes of course that they are a legitimate team, and not some sort of scam, but I didn't notice any red flags while perusing their original ANN thread.  essentially they are treating their exchange as the first application to be written on their platform, using the GIO coin to fuel it, so the platform idea itself still exists. It seems to be an interesting case of turning lemons into lemonade assuming they don't get pulled too far away from their original idea.

sometimes things which appear to be obstacles can be repurposed to turn into advantages. the trick is to be able to recognize when such things are possible. so even if this is not the idea that dan_penta was thinking of, it can still be useful to think of how to turn BTX's current woes into advantages.

BTW.
I skiped it for a long time.
In time of airdrop (start of the second phaze) all BTC wallets was filled with BTX.
As I remember it was 0.5BTX for every BTC.
So, that means that all BTC whalles recieved tons of BTX's.

Gentlemens, does anyone of you make any analysis what such hude amount of BTX was used to?

Is it still unused or not?

Totally!  When this selloff ends, hopefully in a few months, I think we may see at least $5 again.  That’s a nice run from here.
