How much would somebody need to hold to be called a whale. As the price is just above $1.15 I am thinking of buying.

If you're in the top 100
Each person has his own understanding of the term whale. But the top 100 is too small. In my understanding, the whale is a large Holder, which has the ability to manage the market.

I would say anybody holding a certain amount of coins depending on the market circulation and cost per coin is a whale.

If you’re talking a potentially global payment coin then the top 100 puts you at Rockefeller level.

Pretty sure that’s a whale, eh?

Sorry for the hassle with this address format change. I've been thinking for the best way to handle this, wouldn't want to disturb anyone mining with old addresses. I've noticed miners joining my pool from time to time with the new address format and wonder about their payouts - so far I've converted their balances manually to the corresponding old format address so that it's been paid normally among other old format users. But this is far from ideal, there's a delay that's not what is advertised at Elitehash and when it gets converted & paid the balance goes missing from the stats of the address in new format. Right now everyone has been paid, and I've found a solution that allows the pool to work supporting both formats seamlessly. I'll try to restore the missing earning & payouts to stats, too.

Meanwhile, the pool is paying 102.4% without variance, as usual, and there's a link to the converter. Whichever wallet version you use, you can mine at Elitehash right now without any problems, assuming you use the converter yourself, instead of waiting for me to do either that or the code for making the whole thing automatic.

BTC and alts need capitulation before starting the next run.  We’ll probably see another big drop soon.

this is what i have seen in some private whales group, they were talking about a real bleed on crypto before the next bull run

i wonder how to get into this group. what is going on in the market is the hype go down. a large amount of money can launch a new missile very quickly but as long as they do not go to market there will be a fall.

Just a wild guess here but I’m thinking you have to be a whale.  Smiley

im not yet a whale, but there are many familiar with attachments and we communicate well if you understand what i mean. added to my favorites in the list let's see how the market will unfold and everything will be fine it will make sense to buy.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
What happened to BTX twitter? https://twitter.com/Bitcore_BTX ?

No answer to this still? Hm

It would be nice to see the devs step in and explain what is going on. There seems to be no end to this freefall. I am a holder and so far the ride has been exciting but not fun.

It’s not just btx - the entire alt market is collapsing, along with bitcoin.  Volatility is to be expected in this industry, at least short term.  Sell or hold - but get used to it and don’t blame the devs.

Bitcoin Instant seeing alot of the best developers fleeing these wanna-be bitcoin projects ~ BTI is where smart money is going Wink weeeee

On 10th of August, they had this post https://www.facebook.com/Bitcore.Coin/photos/a.1676517762358881.1073741829.1675914545752536/2041061762571144/?type=3&theater on Facebook, linking to Bitcore_BTX twitter, four days later, their twitter gone. I am afraid something again happened and we are not yet aware.

twitter issue will be resolved soon. btx twitter account admin changed age by mistake and that led to this issue
many big players are talking about a big crash on crypto, something like 100$eth or 2k bitcoin
maybe thats the reason why admin of BTX made changes on account by mistake ! and gone !

suppose those predictions works, that means BTX will be around 30c!! {less than 1% of ATH !!!} and it can easily be kicked out like many other coins !

Yes, BTX price down the toilet. This is what I predicted. When it goes under a buck expect it to go under 10 cent soon.

Such time of panic is very good to just catch errors and psycho sales.
Small amount with order way bellow real price can bring you easy $.

Shitcoins can be extremely volatile in this time also.
Just for ex.:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dimecoin/#charts
you can make x2 in minutes (0.00012 -> 0.00023).

BTX volatility between 0.005ETH and 0.0036 bring me some BTX from Bit-Z.
Why not to use it?
Of course ONLY if you can loose it all  and drink whisky after all with pleasure Grin
