I substituted the address from the old wallet and got a new address.

If you installed the new wallet the balances are already there, you just see the new format public address instead of the old one. You can use the converter to convert the old address to the new one to see the entries for the old address you are interested in.

People had issues with cryptopia withdrawals when airdrop was on. There are some post on this thread about that.
I am excited about whitepaper, we really need more good news and announcements.
One idea. Why shouldn't team do loyalty airdrop, for all of us who registered our addresses for airdrop and did not sell them. I mean no new airdrop for week hands that dumped their coins and with them value of BTX!

I can tell you that price of BTX is very stable and I am glad it is this fast. As a fork of bitcoin, I think it has been doing very well.
It is not a fork of bitcoin. It is an independent blockchain that started fresh with its own genesis block where there was an airdrop of coins to bitcoin holders; but in no way it is a fork. A fork splits from the original blockchain. BTX in no way did that.
BTX is a hybrid fork. Its Bitcoin on Steroids. While you are correct and it is its own chain, it is still a copy of bitcoin (much improved copy), just like many others like LTC. BTX, The sleeping giant. Wait until people wake the DRAGON.

Recently, developers announced the upcoming cool news. I very much hope that they will not be limited to white paper and spice it up with a listing on a large stock exchange.

My wallet version v0.14.1.6 is perfectly synchronized and fully functional. While exchanges and pools are working with old versions of wallets, I will not switch to new versions.it means that the purse can not be restored?
This might actually be a problem. The walllet should have been 100% backwards compatible with the old addresses to facilitate the transition.
Now we have a catch 22 problem where exchanges will not upgrade so long as people use the old wallet and people will not upgrade because exchanges use the old wallet.
Not really. The new wallet shows all your coins with the receiving address in the new format. You can still have coins sent to the old address and the new wallet will see them at the new address. Also, there is an online address converter so you can generate a new receive address and the converter will give you the equivalent address in the old format, and vice versa. Not really a problem upgrading at all. Can still send to old address and can get an old address for a new address to give to exchanges, etc. that are still on the old wallet.

HOLD what we can afford and hope for best
Holding and hoping doesn't seem like a good bussiness plan to me. I have purchased some BTX and am accumulating as I like this project and I like what the team is doing.

its best time to accumulate some BTX at this price, its just more than a year BTX is launched they successfully completed there Airdrops and moving into t main project development, so it may take another 1-2 years to see some decent value for BTX, so Lets HOLD what we can afford and hope for best
